Very Impressed
My government career was at stake. I am a disabled veteran and the government tried to terminate me for reasons other than work performance. I was an exceptional performer according to them, but they did not like some of my conduct. It was difficult to find a lawyer who was not afraid to assess a case against the government. He spent his entire weekend looking through stacks of papers from my employment history and notes. On monday morning he met me at his office with the full story written up in a summary. I was very impressed. He had prepared his argument to negotiate my rights back with my employer and in the end, he WON. I have my job and the hostile work environment is gone.
The story:
I appealed the termination decision and it was reversed. I immediately made some complaints to the labor board and to my supervisors. They did nothing about my complaints. I was then presented with an unlawful last chance agreement asking me to waive my rights to any formal complaint against the government in return for my job. Mr. Kotwicki was not having that. My employer was asking me to waive all of my rights past and future against them. A very tough situation, Mr. Kotwicki was not afraid to negotiate with the government attorney. To say the least, I still have my career and my employer is afraid to even look at me. Mr. Kotwicki made a proposal to the government on my behalf that preserved my future rights to fight them if they tried to do anything in the future. I am very impressed. My work environment has improved drastically. My employer, supervisors, and co-workers treat me with respect but know that I mean business thanks to Mr. Kotwicki. I cannot thank him enough for not being afraid to fight for what is right. When the government gave me my career back, Mr. Kotwicki gave me his complete dedication to watch them from the background and make sure that they do not take my rights away in the future. I can actually work without being afraid of losing my career. Thank You! My words of advice. You may not agree with Mr. Kotwicki at first, as I wanted to just pursue a lawsuit, but Mr. Kotwicki has your best interests in mind with every word he speaks. Take it from me. I still have my job and if I ever have a problem again, I will know where to turn.
