Pet Food Warehouse is a locally-owned, Vermont business with retail locations in South Burlington and Shelburne, Vermont-- serving the pet care needs of the greater Burlington area. Inventory includes a large selection of premium pet foods, a massive assortment of pet toys, treats, grooming supplies, crates, and many other pet accessories. The Williston Road location in South Burlington also boasts the famous Pet Wash Express, the area's first self-serve pet wash. Pet Food Warehouse has been voted Best Pet Food & Supply Store every year by both the Burlington Free Press and Seven Days newspapers. Its lively atmosphere, affordable prices and friendly, knowledgeable sales staff have been improving the lives of the area's pets since 1983. The key to Pet Food Warehouse's success is its corporate philosophy, which stresses caring for the area's pet population. Sales staff recommend products based on the animal's well-being, not the bottom line. At Pet Food Warehouse, the company motto, "We Care About Your Pets!" is actually practiced on a daily basis by all employees. In order to best serve our customers and their pets, Pet Food Warehouse hosts monthly training seminars to further staff education. The company regularly donates food and accessories to local humane societies and animal rescue groups, and actively supports animal welfare organizations through numerous fund-raising events and donations. Started in 1983 by Jonathan Lash, the company has grown from relatively small beginnings to become the premier pet food and supply store in the Burlington, VT area. After Jonathan passed away in 1995, his wife Kim Lash took over as company president and leads the operation today. With 46 employees and a wholesale distribution division, Pet Food Warehouse is sure to continue providing cutting edge products and knowledge to enrich the lives of the pets in our community for years to come.
