Upon entering Pizza Street you're promptly greeted by the manager who is always quick to offer up any "favorites" that you might want to have or try. There is always ample food at any time that is fresh and piping hot at the bar (which is adorned with sneeze guards). When you look around you're sure to notice budget conscious blue-collar workers, along with older retired couples, young teenagers, and large families. A nice mixture of which you're sure to feel comfortable and not feel like you're being judged for what or how much you're eating... This is a clean establishment, with a good business plan of how to efficiently run a pizza bar. I would compare this to Southwest, sure there might be better tasting pizza out there, or there might be thicker pizza sauce, or more plentiful toppings, but pound for pound, dollar for dollar Pizza Street is the Anderson Silva of lunch buffets. They have a good system of constantly making a pizza and rotating the types that get eaten most often and are seldom out of a particular kind without one coming out of the oven, or being cut as the last slice leaves the stainless steel pizza pan. Toppings at time can be a bit scarce, sauce at times can be a bit thin, but there are plenty of choices, not to mention any custom pizza that you can dream up and all for $4.84 including tax. I personally had (and do each time) 2 slices of spud pizza, 3 slices of buffalo chicken pizza, 1 slice of deep-dish pepperoni, two slices of combination pepperoni and sausage, 4 cheesy breadsticks, and 2 pieces of pizza dipper. Make sure not to forget the chocolate sauce covered dessert pizza with powdered sugar, and an ice cream cone to treat your sweet tooth. I have had occasions eating here where I would have rated this 4.5 out of 5 cheesy breadsticks, but for today it was typical (very good not excellent) and I would give it an overall 4 out of 5 cheesy breadsticks.

in town overnight just looking for some food and love Italian. Pleasant young waitress took my order....italian sausage patty sandwich with mozzarella and marinara. Having never had the sandwich I added Basil as I love fresh basil on all marinaras. all on an oven toasted bun. Let me say that I ordered the 12" planning to take half back to the room for lunch on the road tomorrow. After a great house salad in lieu of fries, the meal came out. Besides being good looking, it was probably the best sausage sand. ever. The sausage patty was well done and crisp, the marinara was the best I ever had and the overall taste was BEST EVER. I was also shocked at bill time when the waitress announced that someone had paid my tab (anon)....this was a first for me as a Christian, disabled veteran...i have never felt so honored and humble. thanks to the Chef for a fantastic meal and thanks to the folks who made my Day!....I also had a very attentive, professional waitress.....thanks Minsky's
Delicious pizza and other offerings, but what a shame. Nick's has opened their new pizza shop in Lenexa, a location that has unfortunately seen several restaurant venues come and go. Wanting to support a local eatery with food that was actually above par, we have visited several times in the last month. However, we've got our doubts about the survival of Nick's — not because of the quality of the food. The atmosphere is definitely dreary and most of the attitudes of the staff as well. Our server this evening was a contrast to others that work there, but she is fighting an uphill battle with her cheery smile. A sunnier paint job, more uplifting lighting, a little creative wall decor, warmer service and some simple marketing would go so far. It would take so little to improve the atmosphere, we hope they make some much needed changes to ensure their longevity.
