Our family has used Almost Home for both boarding and grooming. We often travel with our dog, but when we can't she stays at Almost Home and is always happy when we pick her up. The staff is great there! The most recent occasion to use them was when our dog got out at home the day before Thanksgiving and rolled in something that was none too pleasant! We called and the groomers had gone for the day, but one of the staff volunteered to bathe, dry and brush out our dog if we could just get her there within the hour. Crisis averted! The boarding staff are always pleasant and professional. Our dog gets a lot more exercise than we hear about other facilities. The place is always clean and the staff seem to really care about the "guests" they have. The drive out to Almost Home is well worth it to be sure that your dog is well taken care of!!
I cannot say enough good things about Wiggles and Wags! I am a foster mom and Christy gave her a wonderful spa day for FREE! I was not sure what to expect so I gave them a call when I heard they were offering free services to rescues and fosters. Christy was so pleasant to talk too, worked me right in despite her busy day. When I arrived I was greeted with a beautiful smile and they made my foster feel very comfortable about being at the groomers. It only took her an hour and when I arrived to pick up my foster baby was so relaxed and beautiful and smelled so wonderful! She did not want to leave :) She even got a goodie bag and an awesome flower for her collar! Christy and the staff at Wiggles and Wags ROCK! Please support this business, we need more like them.....Mary Steed
I just went to lisa for the first time a couple days ago. It's a really cute place. Not the best area for me but worth the drive. It smelled clean in there and was bright and just nice I guess. They have a really neat wall mural that's huge with all kinds of dogs on it . The kids liked the water cooler, lol. Anyway the haircut was very nice and Butch (my little mutt) didn't get anxious like he usually does. They seemed pretty busy but they were friendly and took care of us pretty quick so I thought they deserved a good review. All in all it's just a nice friendly neighborhood kind of place and I liked it. Oh and I forgot she called 4 hours later to say he was all ready to go. Normally he's at the groomers for 6 hours or better so I thought that was nice as well.
