Where should we begin? How about the appointment - I made an appointment two months in advance for prom hairstyles for my daughter and her friend - the lady quoted me $50 - $80 per hairstyle. On arrival, the staff was extremely rude and showed poor customer service; they acted bothered that we were there. Then, the lady was clueless as to our appointment time, thinking it was an hour earlier and that we had missed our appointment. The girls sat for 30 minutes before anyone attended them (more time wasted), with staff stating they had nobody available to attend them. Isn't that the point of making an appointment?? I informed them the girls had an appointment with a photographer immediately following, and their staff was apathetic. The lady then informed me that the prices would be based on the experience level of the stylist - that the least experienced stylist would be less, the ones with more experience would cost more, and the "experts" would be the most expensive. When they brought the stylists to the girls so they could explain the hairstyles they wanted (with photos), the stylists said "BRAIDING IS NOT MY THING." The girls changed their minds to different hairstyles; from that point forward the stylists had an ABSOLUTELY STUPID attitude, acting bothered by the girls' request for braids. When my daughter decided to change her hairstyle, the stylist told her she couldn't change her mind. When the stylists were curling the girls' hair, it was clear they had no experience whatsoever with styling. The end result was two hairstyles that any child could have performed on one another - super frizzy and terrible. The kicker was when I asked for the manager to discuss the poor quality of the hairstyles, the lady at the counter told me the total would be $180 (90/each) !!! I asked why this was, and was told curling their hair added to the price. I was also informed that there was a separate envelope for tips. I asked again for the manager, and told them I was completely dissatisfied. To my surprise, when the lady at the counter called the manager over, it was the same horrible lady that had attended us since the beginning (Kim Boslow)! Management sets the tone for customer service, and in this case it is no wonder this place gets so many one star reviews - customer service is NON-EXISTENT. The only reason I did not leave zero stars as a rating is because you are required to mark at least one star. I actually had to reaccomplish both of their haristyles once we arrived at home. The absolute best was when two of their friends came to the house and had intricate, gorgeous braid hairstyles, done through a friend, for $30/each! Thanks a million Image Creators, thanks for NOTHING. Lots of $$ flushed down the toilet. I would have been better off coming down to your salon and just giving you $180 for nothing - at least I wouldn't have left with a headache and the aggravation of having to redo their hairstyles myself. And oh, by the way, they were late to their appointment for their photographer. Thanks again, for nothing! Worthless business!!!

I have been going to Image Creators for close to three years now. Things have happened now and again in that time. Sometimes it has been my fault, like yesterday showing up at the wrong time. I thought it was a 9:00 a.m. appointment, in fact it wasn't till 11:30 p.m. I made the mistake yet the young lady at reception tried to see if Vivian could go a head and take me at 9. It was not possible but, she tried, to save me the extra trip. I found that very thoughtful.
On one other occasion there was a booking issue where the same time slot got double booked for the same tech. I was moved to a later time slot. Apologizes were made and later Kimberly came and gave a very worth while gift to say they were sorry for the mix up. I was very surprised! It was a mistake that was no one in particular's fault. Computers! You been there a time a two I'm sure.......... Well. if you been living in this world for any real length.
I always find the staff very accommodating and have gone OUT OF THEIR WAY ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION!

This place is awful or shall I say my experience. Went in to see Devin. SPECIFICALLY asked not to have dark harsh ueven hair. Exactly what I received. It was soo dry. Manager Kimberly said I could come in and have the color removed etc then colored AGAIN. Why should I go in and have my hair even more damaged. I told her I wanted a refund for the WHOLE service. I also paid $15 for a blowdry that I had to re-do once I got home. She was not the most pleasant person and refused. I HAVE never complained about my current salon and was looking for something more affordable. I ended paying the same amount for all over color and it WAS WORSE basically a hair cuttery experience. I WILL NEVER REFER ANYONE HERE and my mother actually cancelled her appt after my experience. We were both trying to find a new salon. DONT GO.

I haven?t been to Image Creators in a long time, but I was visiting my mother in Severna Park and she surprised my with a pedicure appointment for the two of us. We arrived a few minutes early, checked in, and waited to be called back. My mother was almost immediately taken to her pedicure tub to get started, while I waited in the lobby. After about 15 minutes of waiting, the nail technician finally called my name. I didn?t mind waiting, I understand other customers may have come late or need special attention. When I headed towards the back where the pedicure chairs, there is a half wall that divides the four pedicure chairs. My mother was on one side of the wall, and I assumed I was to sit next to her since we booked the appointments for joint pedicures. I was wrong, they sat me on the other side of the wall away from my mother so I couldn?t even talk to her, and granite the tub next to her was vacant. The pedicure was going well; I was relaxing and enjoying the pedicure when I was interrupted by a store manager asking to move to another chair. I had to remove my feet from the warm water, dry my legs, and feet, then walk to the vacant chair next to my mother. I was furious, I am paying for a relaxing pedicure and I was asked to move to another chair in the middle of my pedicure, what?s relaxing about that? The store manager told me I was in the wrong chair to begin with, and it was reserved for someone else. Wow glad to see Image Creators is such a well-organized business.

I called Image Creators and made an appointment for a manicure and pedicure. When making my appointment they descried the services to me and I ended up getting a Gel Color Manicure and an Eggnog Pedicure.
What a wonderful Treat. Not only was Renee my nail tech punctual but she was EXTREMELY pleasant. It was the Saturday before Christmas, December 17, and that place was busy. She still made me feel like the only client in the building.
When I checked out the Front Desk asked me how my services were and offered me a New Client bag filled with coupons for my next services. I loved this place sooo much I booked my next 2 months services. Totally Rocks!!!

I have to strongly disagree with prior reviews. This salon is first rate and Marnie is absolutely the best stylist! I lived in Los Angeles and have been to overpriced and big shot Hollywood stylists. Marnie cuts and colors better than they do and is professional and nice while she is practicing her craft. I have recommended her to my friends and they have all LOVED her.

I have tried several times to make this place work for me. The one try at a facial resulted in a short session with broken equipment (the steam wouldn't work so she just sighed and said it was hard to fix it!). I had another appointment for waxing and less than a hour before I was to go, I was called to be told that it was on the books for 11 pm, not 11 am so I would have to reschedule!! HUH? Then my sister went for a manicure and the polish streaked and gunked and it took over an hour to try to fix and she has 2 hands that look totally different from each other. The owners are snooty and rude. It is just a mess there. Forget this place!!

Ladies save your money! I did not visit the salon but did get a pedicure there only last weekend. Total regret! I could go ANYWHERE and get better service than I did there. Prices are competitive of any spa however you don?t get what you pay for. I routinely get pedicures from various different places; I chose to go here because they offered a pedicure for girls under twelve. I thought it would be fun for me and my daughter to get our toes done together. Big mistake! My technician skipped half of the steps I am used to having preformed at other locations, including cleaning up my cuticles and when I questioned her about why the paint was lumpy, the response I got was ?the paint is tricky?. These are only a few examples of my experience. It was a very disappointing experience. I recommend going else where.
