Best Vet!!! I've been going here for a few years now with my dog Norman! All of the veterinarians and staff are so caring! I'm able to drop my dog off for his vet appointment and to get groomed! Norman has had his teeth cleaned here and he is such a happy and healthy dog thanks to Bayside!
My family and I rescued a kitten off of a country road. After he almost hit hit by a truck.
He learned his name in one day and would come when you called him.
He used his litter box instantly and always went to it, sometimes running to it.
He quickly became the focal point of our family. He was magnificent. He had long legs and long body and long tail. He was part Siamese so his face had high cheekbones and the most beautiful light brown eyes anyone had ever seen.
His fur was pure white with some black and beige markings. His fur was like rabbit fur, and it didn't shed! ALL we ever talked about was Simba. He would go limp in your hands every time you picked him up. It was like holding a long lean rabbit fur covered bean bag.he LOVED to be held upside down and would throw his arms above his head and look at e everything upside down.When we got him I was very sick and he stayed in bed with me day after day for a month. Ppl told me he was sent to me by God. He slept between us every night and we would fall asleep to his purring. When the morning alarm would go off he would nudge Dan and purr to help get him up. He knew it was breakfast time. He would go everywhere with us. He loved the car rides. When he walked he looked line a panther. His shoulders would move up and down as he strutted.
When you called him he would run to you and just fall down on your feet and roll upside down. My son became so attached to him saying he's never ever seen a cat like Simba. I took him on Monday 8/28 to get neutered. Bayside vet called me and said he died. We took turns holding his limp dead body crying out loud and buried him in a box my fiancée made for him. I have not stopped crying for three days now. I've never felt such pain. The vet was short and agitated when answering questions.his beautiful nails had been cut off all the way to the pad. He loved us and should have been w/ us for years. WHY did this HAPPEN! It seems obvious the anesthesia was wrong. We are lost w/out Simba
Bayside's Dr Steinberg has been my vet through 5 pups. We sometimes have to wait to see him because of the extra care he shows the furkids but he's worth it. I'm always afraid that my dog it at death's door, and could easily be financially exploited, but Dr. Steinberg finds a medicine, injection, diet change (which means discipling me from spoiling pup on the holidays) and very rarely surgery heals him right up. We woof him.
