This place is great!! Eat in the old railroad car. The fried portabella mushrooms are really tasty, as are the fried pickles. The barbeque sauce is a little sweet, but has a bite. It is located on Hwy 65 south of Hwy 50. A great place to stop going to one of the lakes in south central Missouri, or on your way to Jefferson City. I make it a point to stop by when I take my boat in for service. Don't go by on Tuesday, because that is their day off.
We had Great meals (Full Rack BBQ, Prime Rib). LARGE portions - both the meal & the sides. The service was excellent. Prices were very reasonable. FANTASTIC home-made pie! We're going back!
I have tried most of the menu over the past few years and I have enjoyed everything. I highly recommend.
