I understand this museum will be relocating as the plan is to return the elementary school to school use. It's a great place to visit with display rooms for Scandinavian exhibits ( I especially like the clothing and crafts) and local Ballard history. Regular events are scheduled and well attended.
They had 7 days left in their old location when we visited. The exhibition space was small but we sitll managed to spend 1.5 hours there. There is a lot of reading to do. The exhibit that I found most moving was that of Japanese internment camps.
This outdoor sculpture garden is a great way to take a nice walk, see unique towering sculptures, all while taking in the gorgeous seaside vistas of Seattle.
