I am very pleased to be a lifelong client of HEIDI at Salon Moxi. I have followed her through her 15+ year career on the Hill and am always amazed at how intuitive she is. I am a ""wash and wear"" kind of person, and the enthusiastic and understanding HEIDI has gotten this functionality down to a science. She is downright surgical in her approach, with an excellent courteous manner. I use Kevin Murphy products (sticky business and if going out a long time, along with gritty business) and am completely satisfied with the results, quite often with the compliments of others. Salon Moxi is an experience in professonalism. You can get in a couple weeks out or try a call in for a sudden opening. TUESDAYS are the best. Rest assured that having been on the Hill for their extensive careers, the girls are in touch with Seattle's Beauty needs and You wll have a Timely, Relevant hairstyle that is not the result of hurried preachy pushy huggy kissy persons. Trust that You are in good hands with any of the stylists there - Carlin, Jessica, Trista and Heidi. The girls make people Beautiful and treat you like a million dollars. I see so many smiling faces that it's contagious. I always leave Salon Moxi in a good mood no matter what state I'm in when I get there!

There have been so many random ladies who have stopped me on the street and asked me about my haircut since I started seeing Jasmine about a year ago. I get so many compliments about the cut and color all the time. I love Jasmine and I love the store, too. Very cozy and everyone is so nice.

Salon Moxi is a cozy, yet chic and stylish urban salon with reasonable prices and quality cuts and color. The stylists and staff are friendly, professional, and helpful. Trista always does a great job with my short hair--always giving me a cut that is fresh and stylish, yet also easy to maintain. She always gives me a quality haircut, and is great about taking time to ask me about what I want and make sure that I walk out each time with a new style I'm really happy with. Salon Moxi is a great find and I highly recommend it!

I was so happy when Salon Moxi opened their doors! A cool, low-key high-style salon just far enough off of capitol hill to have a reasonable amount of parking. Heidi is a fantastic hairdresser so when she called me to let me know about the new salon I was really pleased. I've been through several styles (and colors) with Heidi and happy with everything so far. When I switched to bangs she eased me into a style that wouldn't leave me in shock. No where near as much pressure to buy products as some places - in fact almost none.

Since its very inception, I have been a frequent visitor and client of Salon Moxi. I have been very satisfied with the hair stylists that I have encountered there. They have been AMAZINGLY understanding and forgiving of my unpredictable schedule. I can't say enough good things about ALL of the people that work at Moxi. I highly suggest trying it out. Cheers.

I've been seeing Jessica for several years, and I wouldn't trust my cut with anyone else. I can't count how many times I've heard strangers tell me ""I love your hair! Where did you have it cut?"" Several of my friends see Jessica now based on how fabulous my haircuts are. The salon itself is really cool, yet cozy and the staff are very friendly. Great people, great hair!

i feel an obligation to warn people against this place since i was totally not listened to when i went to this salon. I asked for subtle highlights and came out with big streaks! My job is very conservative and this is not going to fly. Although I showed my obvious disdain nothing was offered to fix it so I voiced my unsatisfaction. The stylist looked at me oddly and said ""your highlights are beautiful"". Well I'm glad she thought so but the chunky streaks are awful --- I hate it.

Best Cut in Town

I love this place, especially since they split off and opened their own shop. When I show up for my appointment I feel like family, which is a very nice feeling. I'm always happy with my haircuts, and they have nice touches, like offering to hang up your coat, and real towels in the restroom. I have also been enjoying the art work. Their prices are competitive and I've always gotten my monies worth and more. I highly recommend this shop for men and women, you can't go wrong.

I went into this place expecting great things. I was referred by one of my best friends. After being treated rudely on the phone I thought well maybe they are just having a bad day. The place seems nice enough except as soon as you try to relax the fire trucks across the street come screeching out like a bat outta hell. My foil woulda been ok if it wasn't for the big dark spot where she did'nt get to the root right at my temple. My layers are uneven. I went to another salon to get my hair fixed. 4 Lovely Ladies and a Don

As a guy, you know how long it takes for someone to learn your hair. And when you find someone who cuts it just right, well then you stay with them...for a long time.\r \r I've been going to these lovely ladies for over 5 years (back when they were on Broadway), and would keep following them even if they moved to Ballard. I live in West Seattle now, but travel the 25 minutes through Husky traffic to see them every month.\r \r Where else can you run into 2 Felix's? If I could, I'd vote for Salon Moxi for Best Bar too!\r \r PRO's:\r 1.) Maintenance cuts are KEY. Keeps you from those shaggy weeks when you like it tight. 2.) Great scalp massages 3.) Convienently located near Trader Joe's and Elysian Brewery for your pre-post drunken shopping. 4.) Best tea-house - I love the Ginger-lemon Green tea 5.) Best Bar - Elysian is the best in seattle 6.) I went here to see Jasmine for a cut and color (bleaching my roots from near-black to platinum) and she did a fantastic job. She has a secret trick to make the bleach not hurt my scalp, and she was attentive and funny and great fun the whole time (not always easy during a multi-hour process). Prices are also completely reasonable. I will definitely go back, and I recommend Jasmine to anyone.

I was lucky enough to meet Jessica 8 years ago when I happened to ""walk in"" to a salon and be seated in her chair. She is AMAZING with color and the scissors! She really looks at your hair and makes great recommendations of how to maximize your style. I have curly hair, and she does an excellent job keeping it all in order. Salon Moxi has a great team attitude and all the stylists are friendly and the interior of the salon is warm and inviting.

I've been seeing Heidi at Salon Moxi for about a year now and couldn't be happier. She's always made sure I was happy with my hair before leaving the salon, and I've never been disappointed. She's introduced me to several great products that I've enjoyed using and it's always a blast to come in and see her! She also lets me come in 2 weeks after a hair cut to get a little maintenance trim after it's grown out a bit.\r \r The salon is always clean and everybody there is very friendly. Moxi is a fantastic place to get your hair cut. Jessica has been cutting my hair for almost 10 years because she knows exactly what can and more importantly, should be done with my hair. The atmosphere of the place is completely relaxing and fun--you can just tell that everybody has fun in there--including Jessica's dog Luna! Every person in the salon treats the client as an individualand taylors the experience for that person in a way that is right. For guys, the maintainence haircut (ability to come in between full cuts to clean up sides and neck) is a huge benefit as well. Booking haircuts at the last minute can sometimes be a challenge, but I can say that I have never been completely stuck. Basically, Moxi is the best place to hang out with great people and get your hair styled at the same time. Highly recommended!

The staff at Moxi is relaxed, friendly & welcoming. The salon is warmly lit and cleverly arranged so I feel like I have a lot of privacy while my hair is being washed & cut. I can ask for advice on coloring and different cuts or I can just relax and enjoy the pampering. No hard sell of products or additional services here. I especially appreciate the professional way they handle scheduling. I seem to always be late but they never are. I can schedule appointments right before school is out and know that I won't be late picking my daughter up.

Trista has been my hairstylist for over 2 years and I am happy she has settled in at Salon Moxi where her fellow stylists are just as talented and friendly as they come. I had a hard time ""shopping"" for a stylist that didn't give me the standard Gene Juarez soccer mom treatment, beleive me I have looked! So if you want fun, edgy and a lot of compliments I **HIGHLY** recommend Trista and Salon Moxi for your styling/coloring needs.

I have never loved my hair color and cut more since I've had hair on my head. Jessica, the shop owner is\r wonderful. She completely exceeds my expectations every time I go in. I get so many compliments on my hair. and cannot recommend her enough. The other thing i love about the salon is the good karma and vibe flowing through there whenever I come in. Have been a client of Jessica's for a while and she is the BEST!!! However the whole salon is extremely friendly and helpful - Would recommend this Salon to ANYONE without hesitation - The staff is AWESOME and the atmosphere inside is perfect (relaxing and comfortable). I have followed my stylist, Jasmine, through a few salons. This is by far the best one I have seen. First, let me rave about Jasmine. I used to go to one of the larger salon chains in Seattle...until I found Jasmine. She is by far the best stylist I have ever gone to. She is always up on the latest trends and knows how to keep you looking cool and classy or funky and hot. Not only does she give great cuts, she is also an amazing colorist. She is a great person as well and is always wearing the most amazing smile on her face. The salon overall is the coolest and friendliest one I've found. The space and layout is awesome and the staff is always friendly and accomodating. I highly recommend Moxi and I highly recommend Jasmine. I love this place!
