    Get your burritos wet!

Am in love with the tofu fajita style burrito.

    Provided by

I frequently visit the Everett location but decided to give the other location a try to make sure it was as good. Was amazed to see how much more crowded this one was, but happy to learn they had a parking lot and outdoor patio area. Food is equally as delicious, I have a hard time trying anything different as I love the tofu burrito so much, but I hear the quesadillas are pretty good too. Portions are huge, and if you need a bigger burrito you can get one the size of a baby for only 10$. I'm thinking of experimenting with this next time myself. What a great way to save money if you can find someone willing to split your burrito. Same great salsa bar, I even learned their salsa is being sold at Madison Market. Some people complain portions are too big, but I personally enjoy more food for my money.

A Very Good and Reliable Neighborhood Mexican Joint

    Provided by

When I sit down, the first thing that I do is pour their homemade salsa, also known as a Pihuamo Sauce, all over the top of the burrito to give it that extra kick. Diving in I'm hit with the savory flavors that I've come to expect from Gordito's. The tortilla has been warmed and is very nice and soft. The chicken is always juicy, never dried out. The rice is simply seasoned, and the black beans tender, but not mushy. And the red sauce finishes it perfectly, a fairly mild flavor that just meshes perfectly with everything else. Truly ""baby-sized"" burritos!

    Provided by

Gorditos serves up delicious, authentic, Mexican food in enormous portions. One entree will serve an average person for two meals. I've heard tales of men with large appetites challenging each other to finish the baby-sized burritos - without much success, I might add. The food is great, especially accompanied by their fresh salsas and pico. The place is a bit of a hole in the wall, but that's all part of the charm. In cool days, settle in by the fireplace with a burrito or a plate of creamy chipotle chicken and imagine yourself in warmer climates. Burritos will set you back about $7, other entrees are between $8 and $11. Vegetarian and vegan options are numerous!

    Love the big burritors

    Provided by

I love these cheap burritos. The building looks like a hole in the wall, but its authentic and tasty. Their large burrito is the size of a new born baby... so go hungry.

    FISH BURRITO WAS OUTSTANDING!

    Provided by

This place has a great menu with well prepared food. There's nothing fancy here, just a solid meal. I got a Fish Burrito & my wife got a Prawn Taco. Both were excellent. Our only complaint was that we ordered them to go and when we finally had a chance to sit down and enjoy the hot wraps had fallen apart inside the foil wrappers. If you're getting yours too go, then pick up a fork and lots a napkins. We will definitely go again!

    Good and Cheap

    Provided by

Prices are cheap for the amount of food you get. One burrito can easily be split into two or three meals, and a super burrito can easily be split into three or four! It's not the best burrito I've ever had, but it is pretty tasty for the price.

No flavor, not even in the hot sauces.

    Provided by

Yes, my boss and I took a trip today to Gordito's. We usually eat at Pho Tic Tac across the street and see tons of people going in and out of Gordito's all the time. So we agreed that some day we'll try it out and today was ""THE DAY."" I ordered the steak burrito (wet) with mild sauce and made it a ""plate"" order(which means it comes with rice and beans) and my boss ordered steak enchiladas plate. We have been to many Mexican restaurants like Jalisco's which is really good, Mr. Villas which has homemade tortillas and really great mole sauce(my boss' preferred sauce), and I like Chipotle because of the freshness of their meats and vegetables especially the lettuce. Any ways, we were excited to eat and the place was just full of patrons, so we had really high expectations. However, we were entirely disappointed with the quality of flavor, wait a minute, what quality??? There was no flavor on the steak pieces, the salsa was very bland, but they did give us quantity. The burrito was huge, but it didn't make up for the lack of flavor. So we sat there and finished our foods, only because I had paid $25 bucks for 2 plates and drinks to wash it down. Very disappointing. Will never go back!!!!!

    We love Gorditos !!!!

    Provided by

We love this place !!! We have been going for years. \r \r The prices don't change very often. This year the prices did go up, just like everywhere else. I heard that their cost went up about 20% but they only raise their prices by 5%. The 3% credit card charge is just a way to pass on the credit card charge that they pay. I think that it is great that they accept credit cards at all. I've heard that business owner pay rediculous amounts for accepting cards.\r \r The food and service is worth every penny. The flavors are the same as they were when we discoverd Gorditos years ago. No matter how long I've been going there, my favorite is still the chicken fajita wet burrito (sometimes steak is my favorite). The burrito hasn't changed a bit, flavor and size. They did come out with a smaller item menu last year, and you can order your favorites in a smaller version. I still order the regular and take home leftovers, but this is a super nice option.\r \r Thank you Gorditos !!!!!

Disappointed in the changes at Gorditos

    Provided by

I've been going to Gorditos for fun & fast Mexican food for several years. I went in last night for the first time in several months and was annoyed with the changes they have made to the menu. The food was the same, and still tasted pretty good (prawn fajita quesadilla is really the best thing I've found there and everything else is pretty standard). However, the ""new"" higher prices on the menu are for CASH ONLY and they will charge you 3% more for using a credit card. I had cash so I didn't complain, but come on! Why punish people for using a credit card? And I know 3% isn't much, but it surprised me for a restaurant to have this policy. The prices are already much higher than they were a couple years ago. Seems like they are getting arrogant with their reputation around Seattle and don't want to be bothered with customer service. I'm fed up with their rules (this new 3% thing & only ONE basket of chips per table) and don't think I will return. I'll miss the quesadilla but there is other good Mexican food around.

    Amazing Burritos

    Provided by

The burritos here are amazing. The carne asada is seasoned to perfection and their salsas are also very tasty. Fast, friendly service, outdoor seating in the back...highly recommended. The only possible downside is that it can get pretty loud in there...but that's part of the atmosphere.

Healty but not tasty at all

    Provided by

I kept hearing over the years how great this place is. Well, I finally got a try of one of their giant burrittos. I was severely disappointed. It may be healthy and the ingredients certainly were fresh but it was not a taste treat in the least. Bland stuff rolled in a gummy tortilla. While a few of the Mexican restaurants in Seattle match those great ones that I've eaten in in Mexico, California, Texas and even Washington, DC, this place doesn't even come close to passable.

Amazing Mexican Food! Nothing better when you're in the mood for high-quality!

    Provided by

This place is Really Really good. The food is excellent, but the Quality is even better, which is still not as good as the price! Its all made fresh, and they even give you chips while you wait in line (for to go orders too!). The place is large, and great for holding events.

Get the fish or carne asada!

    Provided by

I've been a Gordito's fan for years, so perhaps I'm biased. It certainly can be up and down, however, lately they seem to be on an upswing. If you want a solid meal for a very reasonable price, you can't beat this. The portions are obscene, so...share them. The carne asada plate is a great dish to share and I just had my best ever at Gordito's. The wet fish burrito, which comes with salsa verde and not the standard red sauce, is excellent. The marinated fish is incredibly flavorful, but yes, perhaps over-seasoned. If you want subtlety, go somewhere else.

A disappointment as large as the Burrito

    Provided by

Come on people these burritos are nothing special. Big yes, but unbelievably over hyped. If you?re looking for a filler overdose and a stomach ache, you?ve come to the right place! How can they claim this is healthy Mexican food when their burritos could suffocate a small child? Quantity is far from Quality.

Best Cheap Burritos a lot of food for a little money

    Provided by

The staff is always friendly and serves you as quick as possible. Some Fri and Sat nights the line is out the door. The parking is really tight especially if you have a large vehicle or even a mid-size. You can order a large burrito and definately have leftovers for lunch the next day. The carne asada burrito is AWESOME and the chicken is good as well. The regular size burrito will probably still give you leftover sthe next day and only costs around $6. The restaurant is a self-serve, homey place, and extremely warm in the summer, though there is an outside patio in the back. There is a great salsa bar. You are expected to clear your own table, and there are to-go boxes if you need to pack up. It's part of keeping the costs low. Love it!

    Fab, fresh burritos

    Provided by

OK, it might not be authentic, true mexican food, but man. If I can feed 4 people for $10 (grande burrito, wet and fajita style no doubt) I am a happy camper.\r \r Also happy to find Manny's on tap. \r \r Keep up the good work! Happy to have the Queen Anne location!

two and a half pounds of pure burrito goodness

    Provided by

Yes, we weighed take-out burritos once, and yes, they weighd 2.5 pounds. That's for a regular burrito, wet of course. Burritos are definately the main attraction. Be aware that most other options come with the same beans and rice as the burrito, so some taste very similar. Salsa/sauces are made in house and on rare occasion it's been a little bland, but the salsa bar can fix that. As far as dining in, yes, it's loud. Go during off hours and it's reasonable, call in an order to go at rush hours-and jump to the front of the line to pick up. The back patio is open during the summer, though small. Beer is great, supplied by a local U-brew (Gallaghers in Edmonds). They aren't open Tuesdays, and take a month over the holidays-the entire place closes down. Visit the new Queen Anne location, 1507 Queen Anne N
