Once when I was 10, my mom and I were window shopping in the big city. She spotted a necklace in the window--a string of about 1-carat-each pear shaped diamonds, in a row in a leaf pattern around the neck.
She told the salesman (in her country bumpkin clothes) she wasn't shopping but for curiosity's sake, how much was that? $95,000. He sat her down in front of a mirror and put it around her neck despite her protests, and attached the $10,000 attachment for the bottom with a HUGE diamond on it.
When we left, my mom said ""*That* place has class. They treat you well even when you're dressed like us.""
They treat me the beautifully every time I get my earrings cleaned too.
I feel good about spending money there. Also they don't buy ""conflict"" diamonds.
Who could ask for more?
