I must say that hiring this plumber to replace the pipes in my house was one of the best things to happen to me lately. After having trouble with getting reasonable estimates from two other plumbing companies I hired Evan Conklin because they spent the time discussing how the job was going to be done. The estimate was right on target. The work went well, they cleaned up after themselves and it was a pleasure to do business with them.
Evan is a stand up guy. I had a problem with my 9 year old water heater pilot and called him to come out for a repair or replacement. Before we set up an appointment, he spent about 20 minutes at 9:30 at night walking me through some troubleshooting for about 20 minutes or so. Long story short, I got the pilot lit and the heater is back in action. Not sure if this was a fluke problem with the heater or if it might need repair down the road but Evan helped me out and saved me money by not having to come out. When the heater does go out one day, I will be calling Evan.

Evan Conklin Plumbing and Heating is a rare bird around here (Queen Anne). I called at least 6 plumbing companies and tried to get some idea how much it cost to get a faucet leak looked at and repaired in my home.
Nobody but Evan Conklin would even discuss the estimated cost with me on the phone.
Evan was the only one that told me what his labor rate was and how long most leaks take to fix. As it turned out it it took 30 minutes and cost me under $100.00.
I had the plumber (Anthony - a really nice guy) take a look at the boiler in my basement while he was there and he advised me to how to safety check it and flush it.
Evan and Anthony were both exceptionally knowledgeable and professional. I have my plumbers!
This company is a neighborhood jewel.
I called at least 8 plumbers off the internet directories and couldn't get an idea of how much they would charge me from any of them until after they came out.
Evan Conklin was very helpful when I called and estimated the cost to fix my leak at under $100. The bill came out to $$79.25 - less than he estimated.
The plumber (Anthony) was great. I know I can trust this company after using them for this little project. They were informative and polite.
They are my plumbers from now on.
Wonderful service. I called with a request to change out my leaking water heater before the water affected my floors and they came out right away.
Martin had the thing replaced in about an hour.
With the Google coupon The price was lower than the other quotes.

They talked intelligently on the phone when I was phone shopping for a replacement water heater. They were great. No hustle, no mumbling about the price. They sent a real plumber who did the swap out in 45 minutes.
The price was right and they let me use a Google coupon at the last minute!
Excellent service by a pro company.

I hired this company upon a friend's recommendation - and it was a good one.
We had a blockage and called one of the plumbing companies with a big ad in the phonebook. Unfortunately, the guy that came out told me that I would have to replace the sewer pipe for $12000 after running a snake. I told him I would think about it and called my neighbor for advice. He told me that Evan Conklin was the only plumber he would trust here in town and to give him a call.
Evan sent Anthony out and he determined that I had a slight ""belly""? in the outgoing pipe but that it was close to the house and could be fixed in 3 hours as it was not more than three feet deep. He dug it up and replaced about 5 feet of pipe. The bill was $925.00!!!!!
Thanks Evan and Anthony for being honest real plumbers . (Shame on that other company....)
I am telling everybody - This company is the only one to call with so many shysters out there.

Seattle Plumbing Company saved my house! I had a flood last light caused by a broken pipe behind my dishwasher. My neighbor told me to get a plumber ASAP as the shut off didn't work 100%. I had trouble getting anybody to tell me on the phone what kind of cost I might expect. The first three I called would not give me any idea. On the fourth call I called these guys and the dispatcher (Evan) was a plumber! I couldn't believe it. He talked to me for a few minutes about what was happening and he told me it was probably a small problem with a flexible hose. He told me that they charge by the quarter hour and that it was likely that the fix would be about half an hour. He was right on. They came right away and charged me for half an hour. They didn't even charge me any travel charges. Thank You Evan. These guys are truly the best.
