I went to this location to try to get a base tan before my vacation to Central America. I informed the ""Manager"" (a twenty-something bimbo with the fakest tan ever!!!) that I'd never been tanning before and was apprehensive about tanning. She assured me that the beds were medium heat and I'd need at least five tans to get any sort of base. This was after she tried to sell me upwards of twenty tans.........I sat in the booth for 8 minutes. 4 hours later, while at work, I developed a horrible burn all over my body. I am a nurse and need to be able to bend, walk, reach, etc. These were all difficult things to do with the 2nd degree burns I had from head to toe. The next day, I tried to get my money back and was told that they do not give refunds. After much deliberation with the ""Manager"" (bronze bimbo) and after being ignored by the owner, I had to contact my credit card company to stop payment. These people have no clue of what customer service is. I only used one of the five tans that I purchased and was required to buy their goggly things for $12!!!!! They state that they are all about ""safe and smart"" tanning, but being completely burnt is neither safe nor smart. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. They overcharge and overfry you. The try to upsell you all this lotion that probably makes it easier to burn. Desert Sun is a terribly run business.
