        My husband and I went to Canli...

        My husband and I went to Canlis to celebrate my birthday and had an excellent dinner. But just as good as the dinner was the incredible service. The atmosphere was intimate and elegant. The seabass special I had melted in my mouth and the incredible filet my husband had was cooked perfectly.

        Canlis Restaurant is a fine dining restaurant with a lounge, foyer, penthouse and cache. It serves northwestern cuisine and hosts weddings, rehearsal dinners, board meetings, family reunions and birthdays. The restaurant s executive room features a fireplace, mahogany walls and oval tables. Its penthouse accommodates up to 100 guests and has a grand piano and bar, as well as floor-to-ceiling windows. Canlis Restaurant, opened in 1950, features stone columns, handmade organic wall coverings and kimono-clad waitresses. Its food menu includes lobster, mahimahi, tuna and duck dishes. The restaurant also serves a variety of wines, such as chardonnay, pinot noir, merlot, sauvignon blanc and zinfandel. It additionally provides gift certificates of several denominations.
