* * * * * Count those. . . they earned them! The food was absolutely fantastico! The atmosphere is lovely. My boyfriend and I visited on a Tuesday evening for dinner in the bar. We were immediately acknowledged by Frankie Genzales (one of the owners) and our experience was superb. In true Italian fashion, we were made to feel like family. A family history in beautiful pictures align the wall, and we received a personal "tour" by Frankie, himself. After throwing names around, he embraced the fact that we had been around B-town for over 50 years and to no surprise, we knew a handful of family members, even attending school with a couple! With all of that aside, we shall return time and again, merely because they are doing it right! Go see for yourself, I recommend the "chicken picatta". Priced right, beautiful array of wines available. . . . nice bar. . . you name it, they nailed it. :)
Avoiding the drug dealers sitting in their cars in the small parking lot can be a challenge. Once we had to wait in the street while the "deal" was being made at the entrance to the parking lot. I've heard, and i don't know if this is true, that management allows the drugging to go on in the parking lot so as to avoid vandalism. The food is great, the portions are huge, but the service is sometimes slow, depending on the waitress.
Their pizza is always delicious! I have only had them deliver and their drivers are always very friendly. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I ordered the calamari and it wasn't very good. Other than that, they are great!
