Meadow Lake I/II Apartments

These are not apartments but roach motels period! its virtually impossible to eliminate the roaches and the only thing that can do it is to burn it down. Their service is the worst you can get below the sun. They do not fix anything on time and when they fix it, they fix like they are on cocaine. DO NOT RENT HERE!

This is the worst and most unsanitary place to live. I would not reccomend this piece of crap place to anyone. We were shown a unit that we thought we were agreeing to and after we signed the lease we were given a different unit that was nothing like the one we were shown. All the appliances were busted or broken, the door tracks were off and all the closets, the cabinets were broken or nasty. The washing machine did not work and prior to turning in the check off sheet, we requested to move out. Pat (the lying, dishonest landlord) agreed and gave us her word that we would only have to pay that month and the remaining portion of our lease would be excused since we were only there 3 days. Well two months later i get a call from a collection agency and she denied ever telling me that and will not speak with me. SERIOUSLY, DISREGARD ALL THE PEOPLE WHO RATE IT HIGHER THAN 1 STAR BECAUSE I WOULDNT EVEN RATE IT 1 IF IT GAVE ME ANOTHER OPTION.

This is a quiet peaceful place to stay . If I have a problem the management adresses it fast. It is clean. It is a good place to live. I love it here.

I have lived in Meadowlake Apartments three times.. once 2004, once 2008, and currently live here.. I can say honestly.. the current management team.. Tahnee & Deryk Ford, Zach & Candace, and Patty Love & her husband ... have CLEANED IT UP.... Meadowlake is now a good place to live.. it is quiet.. maintained.. and is not the GHETTO LAKE of the past.. It is safe.. and is only improving thru the staff's efforts.. DO NOT LET THE NEGATIVE remarks of a few that have had to move as part of the CLEAN OUT process discourage you from renting here..the staff will do whatever is necessary to make your stay in the complex a good experience.



An officer today at Searcy Police Department said that "Meadowlake has really cleaned up. The crime activity there has really lessened with the new staff. It used to be a scary place to live but its changed.They are doing a real good job cleaning it up"



Its changed enough that law enforcement has said it is a good place too..

The staff is lazy. The walls are thin so you can hear everything your neighbors are doing. My dryer hasnt worked in over a month..and i go to the office twice a week to remind them it needs fixed, but still isn't working. My fridge is messed up. All my food is expiring a week or more before the expiration date, so my food is ruining quick, and even though they have been informed, it still hasn't been fixed. When they painted the apartment before I moved in, they did a sloppy job so its all over the tile in the kitchen and the bathroom. The carpet is cheap, you can see the plastic underneath it..they may be cheap, but they're not worth it.
