I joined Yoga in The City because there was a $30 for 30 day special for new students. I was really shocked the first class because the introduction is a little weird and the breathing exercises seem odd. After we got started on the poses I realized I was sweating more than I had ever sweat in my life and i'm from Texas! I really enjoyed the mental and the physical challenge and I am now going to keep on going after my 30 days trial is done.
I love their meditation workshops during the weekends. Even during the week if i find time i make it a point to attend their classes. Most of the classes are usually free and i recommend everybody who wants to learn meditation, this is the best place to start.
This is how yoga was meant to be, a deeply inner journey to reach the spark of God within. Kundalini does this with several tools: postures, mantra, chanting, breath work, the gong (awesome), and meditation - in every class!
