THE PROPER OFFICE NUMBER IS (614)762-7312 . I am very happy with the level of care I get at this clinic. I have spastic diplegia Cerebral Palsy, spinal stenosis, a bulging disc and arthritis, and have worked with other clinics in the past. At the other clinics, I would go in, sit for an hour or two (very painful with my aforementioned issues)and then be handed my prescriptions,AFTER I paid an office copay of fifty dollars regardless of the fact that I never even went back to an examined room, much less be seen by a doctor or nurse. Here, I am asked comprehensive questions about the effectiveness of my current treatment, my ability to attend to self care, and basic quality of life. The staff here seems to really understand that my goal isn't to procure medication, but to live as full and satisfying a life despite my diagnosis. In addition to medication, I am given prescriptions for PT, and other treatments, such as using heat and/or cold, are discussed. I am given a drug test every visit (all patients are) which comforts me in knowing we are all being monitored for proper med use. I am very comfortable here, and after fifteen years, I am walking better since become a patient in January 2015.
I found the person at the window to be polite and informative when I filled out paperwork; then I found the person who lead me back to the room and took my medical papers I brought to make copies for Dr. Dhawale to be a good listener, and not in a hurry. I was impressed Dr. Dhawale sat down, listened to everything that had been going on the last year with my health, my family history, and he asked questions for clearer understanding before he did his hands on assessment. Then he sat down again explaining the plan he had for figuring out what was going on. I was walked by another staff person to the schedule desk, then gave another staff member my pharmacy information, and was given the paper to go to the lab about 15 feet outside of the Thomas Lane office. I got a call 4 business days later with the results of my labs, told what was sent to the pharmacy, and when my biopsy date would be. I was also given the website to look up my condition so I would be informed. This was my first experience and I am hoping the one I will have each time I go.
I have seen Dr. Daab for several years now and love her. I think she is a great doctor and very thorough. She even makes sure medications are formulary for me, as well as, will try to save me as much money as possible. She's very personable and has great bed-side manners. When I was pregnant and before I got in with my OB, she gave me so much helpful information and answered so many questions...which were all correct as my OB went over them and was surprised I had already gotten the info from my pcp. Only complaint I have is that the office does not have any type of web-site or other electronic means of communicating. BUT one great thing is that there is an actual clinic upstairs that is associated to Ohio Health/Riverside, so I can get all my bloodwork and everything with just going up the stairs. No need to go to LabCorb or anywhere else.
