Maple street is the last of the great independent music stores in Atlanta since Guitar Center moved in and took over the market. The staff is professional, friendly and not prone to annoying, high-pressure pitches. What's more, everyone I've met there is a guitar aficionado with great chops and impeccable musical taste. They have easily the most complete selection of high-end guitars I've seen in the area. I've bought my last three instruments there and every Saturday when I take my son into a guitar lesson with the brilliant Charles Williams, I am tempted to go for four.

Our two middle school children took piano, violin and guitar lessons at Eclectic music for two years. The teachers were very good at keeping the classes interesting to our kids by incorporating popular songs into their lessons. The administration was very responsive to working with our schedule to book the lessons and flexible with changes. In addition, the kids got additional practice and exposure by playing in coffee houses and local festivals.
My daughter took violin lessons with several teachers at Eclectic Music over 4 years. The teachers really fostered her early learning and enthusiasm for playing a musical instrument.
