Right when i got my very first puppy, Scout, I started bringing him here because he had so much energy and the dogs really do get ALL DAY PLAY here. The Play yard is huge and they have a trampoline and little swimming pools set up for the dogs to play in. The supervisors are out there with them too playing fetch with the dogs and Scout LOVES fetch. There is a large and small dog area too so all the dogs are conmfortable. Waggin Tails has a nice website and features one dog each month as the Top Dog. Andrea, the owner, writes a very nice and fitting description of the dog and posts it with a picture:) Andrea also does Halloween costume day photo ops and posts those pics too. Scout absolutely LOVES this place and had made tons of friends here. As soon as we get in the car to go home he immediately passes out:). Andrea is a fabulous dog daycare owner and total dog lover. She is also a nurse, so everything is covered, just in case someone gets hurt. I 100% recommend this daycare to any dog owner, even special need dogs thrive here.
I have been going to this vet clinic since 1996 and have never had anything but outsounding service, compassionate doctors and friendly staff. I have lost 3 dogs since attending this clinic and the manner in which they handled these difficult times was nothing less than amazing. The vet came out to my car to administer the drugs to end my dogs suffering (2 died of cancer and were terminal at this point). I'm not sure why Maya had such a bad experience because I've always been in the room when my dogs and cats were examined. One vet tech even took my dog home each night with her to provide 24 hour round the clock care when he was recovering from bloat surgery and then from a pulmonary embolism. I think the only reason he pulled through both critical conditions was due to their extra special loving care. I've been to other vet clinics before this and have never been as impressed as I am with this clinic. They've always gone the less expensive, less intrusive route first and never pressured me to go with the more expensive treatments.
We have 7 animals and they are all aging, so when we moved we were looking for a vet that could handle all our needs. Sylvan Corners has been good for us so far. Pricing is about average, and they are good about giving you high and low estimates and discussing alternative options. They have good sales on flea products which can make a huge difference in how much we pay for it. We use Dr. Cohen, and my only (semi) complaint is that she is quick to refer to a specialist$$$ if the problem appears to be out of her scope. This is probably the right thing to do, I just hate how much is costs when it happens. All the animals seem to like the staff and vets, and we never have a problem getting an appointment. They are flexible and offer cheap vaccinations on the weekends. Front desk help and techs are all great.
