I came home raving about my treatment at this Spa. So much so that I made everyone touch my skin to feel how amazingly soft it was. Possibly inappropriate? Yes. True? Also yes. I am always labeled a workaholic and I have a hard time relaxing my body, not to mention my brain enough to enjoy treatments like this; but by the end of it I said, "Work? What work?! I'm staying here forever!" I received the body wrap, massage, and facial 3-hour package, and it was well worth it. These people have some of the cheapest spa rates in town, but manage to keep it all homey, comfortable, and clean. It's your basic 1-2 punch of relaxing. If you don't need trendy decor and just want to get down to the nitty-gritty, this place is for you. Don't worry, it is well-appointed, clean and decorated well...it's just not your trendy crowd you'd get elsewhere. It almost feels as comfortable as visiting your mom's place (only without the soul-crushing nagging). I should mention - these people are MASTERS of the hot towel. Every single treatment, hot towel on the hands/feet, hot towel on the face. Hot towels all over the place! It's a good thing. The wrap went well; it was something I had never received before. It was altogether uncomfortable and relaxing. It may not be my thing because of the constrictive nature of the wrap, but BOY did it work. My attendant was sweet, and told me what to expect every step of the way though, and it was much appreciated. My favourite part was the massage. I've had a LOT of massages, and I also have a lot of stress. My masseuse was perfectly in tune with my body and adjusted her pressure to where I was tender and worked out probably a year's worth of knots. I say bravo to her because I KNOW it was not easy. My facial was fun, I liked learning about my face and got a good peel and exfoliation. This was the only time the hot towels didn't quite work out, as I left with quite a few peely places on my face. I had to run to the store after my appointment and the cashier looked at me like I was some sort of peely-faced monster. But otherwise, it was all top notch.Day Spa Austin,Day Spas,Spa,Spas,Facial,Facials,Sports Massage,Massage,Swedish Massage,Deep Tissue massage,Waxing Austin

I called yesterday morning to schedule an appointment for early this morning. They had nothing available so I asked if they could call me if they had a cancellation. They called. The salon was easy to find. The lady who checked me in was professional and polite. The premises could use a facelift. Nothing a handyman can't handle. The owners probably dont notice the peeling paint and cracks in the drywall or dull tiles, but new clients do, esp if you call yourself a spa. The client bathroom near the front reception definitely needs some upgrading. It looks nothing like a restroom in a spa. I met Bonnie who was prompt, friendly, professional and nothing short of Amazing! That girl knows her stuff and she did an awesome job for me. I told her what I liked, what I didn't like and what I need. She listened and hit the ball out the park! I am so impressed! My color is beautiful and my cut is Exactly what I asked for. My hair looks and feels like it had a major conditioning treatment, and all she did was color and cut. It is shiny, soft and light. It looks like a million bucks for just under $100. I love it! Thank you Bonnie. See you in a few months. You now have an International client! I will hold off until i come back Stateside for my next cut. I sure wish I had found this place sooner! I highly recommend Dr Kyle Coleman at Westlake Dermatology! He did my Smart Lipo last week. Prior to the procedure my main concern was pain. Dr Coleman reassured me during the consult and explained every detail about the procedure which calmed my anxiety. His nurse, Megan, did the numbing portion of the procedure, which was painless. Megan was so professional and caring at the same time. During the painless Smart Lipo procedure, I was comfortable and awake and able to visit with Dr Coleman. I was so concerned about being able to pick up my 2 young children later that afternoon, and that was no problem. I was back to work 2 days later! Today has been 5 days since the procedure, while I am still swollen, I can already see results! The front desk staff, Jessica and Kary, were so helpful during the check in and check out process. All of the nursing staff, Megan, Deanna, and Nicole, were so friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I will definitely schedule an appointment with Dr Coleman for any future medical or cosmetic concern. I strongly recommend Westlake Dermatology and Dr Kyle Coleman if you are considering any procedure!
