O'Connor Road Animal Hospitalsmwilson521 rated

Thi i the fir t time I've felt compelled to review a practice, but I ju t really wanted to expre my gratitude to everyone there at O'Connor Road Animal Ho pital. My family and I have been taking our dog to thi particular practice for the pa t four year and have had no...morething but good experience and excellent care. My particular hi tory with them involve our two current Au tralian Shepherd , Helo and Maia, who have been eeing Dr. Zengler (and formerly Dr. Quirk :) ) ince they were puppie . We have had a very intere ting couple of year . Ba ic wellne care, vaccination , and pay and neutering ervice were all handled wonderfully- but when Maia, then two-year -old, tarted having trouble getting up, I knew omething wa wrong. After ruling out hip dy pla ia with x-ray and trying variou other pain management treatment , Dr. Quirk referred u out to VREC for a con ultation, and I found out Maia had torn her back ACL. The urgery wa going to co t me an arm and a leg, and at VREC they wanted it all up front, but at two I wa unwilling to put her down. She' my baby. It eemed unthinkable, but there wa no way I could afford the entire thing all at once. I called O'Connor Road, and ure enough they had a doctor who could come in and do the needed urgery there, and they were able to work out a fea ible payment plan with me. The urgery went well, the follow up care wa amazing with the entire crew there ( taff, tech , vet :) ), and Maia i now back to running around with her brother, currently on a mi ion to hed ome pound , and finally learning to catch a fri bee! During the entire ordeal I know I wa an emotional me , but they helped me through and I am o incredibly grateful. I've never met the office taff, but I want to extend a huge thank you for the payment plan. You gave me the option to ave my dog. I won't ever forget that. :) Dr. Zengler i my current vet. She i knowledgeable and kind and both of my dog love her. All of the doctor I've met there have been very good though if we couldn't get in to ee Dr. Zengler. I've alway felt very ecure knowing that my dog would get excellent care at O'Connor Road. The taff i compa ionate and helpful. It may take a few minute to get through on the phone , but it i a very bu y practice (which peak volume - o many people tru t their pet to the doctor here) and it i well worth the wait. It' very ea y to get appointment and refill on medication . Mo tly, I ju t want to ay thank you. Thi practice i amazing and I will continue to refer friend over. :) view less

I took my dog, Molly there. She i a re cue dog with pecial need . She freak out during vet vi it . She hake , he can't control her bowel movement . It i really hard to ee her in thi condition. She i a cocker paniel that need frequent grooming. I wa trimming her m...morey elf, a he ha extreme anxiety going to groomer . She ha anti-anxiety medication, but I will not give it to her due to ide effect . I aw thi groomer (Wag-N-Tail ) online. It had okay review o I decided to try. I needed her trimmed and her nail clipped. I called fir t. The lady that an wered the phone wa very nice and patient. She aid they would take really good care of her and gave me an appointment. I howed up with Molly. Molly wa a wreck! She wa haking horribly. It i o hard to ee her like that, but I needed her nail trimmed and her hair cut. Molly wa in my arm , haking when I walked in. The lady at the counter greeted me and talked to Molly. She wa o weet. She called the groomer from the back (Sarah) and he came out. Sarah wa o good with Molly. She petted her, he aid what a beautiful dog he wa , he rea ured me everything would be fine, etc. I wa very concerned that Molly would ju t be awful. Finally, after many rea urance from the lady at the front and Sarah, I let Molly go. Several hour later I got a call from the lady at the front counter. I immediately thought that Molly had been too hard to handle and they needed me to come her up. NO! The lady informed me that Molly had done GREAT and that he wa ready to be picked up. Great?!?! I had NEVER heard tho e word about Molly from a groomer before. I went to pick her up. They brought her from the back and SHE LOOKED AWESOME!!! Her nail were trimmed, her hair cut wa EXACTLY PERFECT!!! And the be t part of all? Although that wa a year ago, EVERY time I ay to Molly, "Do you want to go ee Sarah?" he wag her tail ready to go. She till HATES her vet, but I have found a groomer for LIFE!! Everyone there i o weet. I wa very nervou , and yet my experience wa phenomenal!! And better then that, Molly had a great experience. In the end, if you are looking for a groomer who put your dog' comfort above everything el e, look no further! Thi place i exactly what you have been looking for! view less

Camp Bow Wownalads17 rated

I LOVE Camp Bow Wow and I'm o glad that I found it. I u e to take my dog to another play care, which wa clo e to where I lived. It wa ok, but I didn't really like the et up and the taff weren't what I thought wa very friendly. I'd heard about Bow Wow from another fr...moreiend but the location wa acro town from where I lived. I decided to check it out one Saturday. The fir t day of play care wa free, becau e during that fir t day, they determine if your dog get along/play well with other dog . They gave me a tour and explained how the day wa et up. The dog play in an area that allow them to be in ide or out ide whenever they want. Thi i great for tho e hot ummer month and very cold winter day . You can drop off a early a 7am, the dog play until lunch. They will feed them if you want, or if not, they won't. Then the dog get nap time, becau e a full day of play care can tucker any dog out! You can pick up anytime in the evening before 7 pm, which i when they clo e. Very convenient hour for the working dog owner! You can watch your pup play all day on their dogcam , which are acce ed from their web ite. But the number 1 rea on I take my dog way acro town to Camp Bow Wow i the owner and the taff. They truly love the dog and take very good care of them- they know all the dog name and they dog love them! It' a great feeling when you know your dog i afe and having a bla t. Boarding i awe ome too. The cabin are large and they have uite too. All day play care i included in the boarding co t , which are very rea onable! They cater to your dog during the day and when you board- any pecial need , ju t let them know and they will be taken care of. In addition, they are alway involved at the local animal re cue event and have even fo tered dog at their daycare. I ugge t to anyone who i looking for an awe ome dog daycare to give Camp Bow Wow a try. The fir t day i free o what do you have to lo e? view less
