Didn't get to eat the stake, because when I ordered Onion Rings, Mozzarella sticks, and loaded Fries as appetizers for my wife and I it was like 10 lbs of food, we were so full we canceled plans for stake and lobster. I'm 278 lbs and buffets lock their doors when I walk by and I have to tell you I've never seen a place give you such a big portion of food... I will definitely go again but next time skip the appetizers...I gotta have that stake.
Outback is a wonderful place for relatively inexpensive steak dinners. They know how to season the steak well. Getting the desired preference for the cooking of the steaks is hit or miss though. It's a great family restaurant and the food caters to all types of appetites. There are long lines, but I've found that to be true at all Outback Steakhouses. You can always go to the bar and find a table.
As always the food is excellent. Service could improve for a restaurant of this caliber. We had to request soda refills. I asked for fresh pepper for my salad and instead of complying, the server informed me that pepper was already added. No cocktail sauce or lemon was presented with the shrimp. Again, another request needed to be made. For the price you pay, service should be remarkable!
