This is a very different experience than going to a small Massage place in a strip mall or a Massage Envy type of place. These people make the whole experience much more Therapeutic and customized. You start off with a cup of tea (they have a large selection), then complete a detailed intake form that asks all sorts of questions, things like past surgeries, broken bones, allergies, and so on. You then meet with a Therapist to discuss your needs. The first time I was here I met with a woman who was not my Therapist, but on my repeat visits, I speak with my Therapist directly prior to the sessions. He's great, asking about anything new that may have come up since the last session and discussing what the plan will be for the next one. Overall, I am hooked and won't go anywhere else. I have been to Chiropractors, Acupuncturists and Physical Therapists and have never felt as good as I have the past 5 months.
“Great Massage, Easy Appointments” This was my second visit to the Shangri-La Day Spa, and once again, I was very happy with my massage. They have many appointments available, so you can get one on short notice, either on the same day you call or within 1-2 days of calling. My massage was great. I asked for deep tissue, and my therapist used firm pressure and paid extra attention to my tightest spots. She also added some stretches at the end, as well as hot stones after asking me if I would like them. I look forward to my next visit.
“awesome experience & one of the best massages I've had” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2015. WOW! They spent a lot of money setting this place up. Room was clean, quiet, filled with calm music and relaxing smell. Everything was very organized. Sheet was very warm. I had Anna for a hard deep tissue massage. She was very consistent and was very tough and precise on every point throughout the body. I can't recommend enough for this place. Price was very reasonable. They have a promotion for $55. Definitely will come back for more.
