I usually buy mattresses at Macy's or Mattress Warehouse b/c those are the obvious places. I stumbled upon My Sleep Cheap when looking for a place where I could order a custom size mattress (for an antique bed) that I could actually try out first. There are many custom suppliers online but you can't lie on the mattress first. MSC uses a factory nearby and can not only get mattresses quickly but also have them cut to order. I was thrilled by this and by the fact that their prices were "budget" but the beds themselves were nothing but. My mattress set was delivered on time and efficiently (and the salesperson waived the delivery charge). They came when they said they would. They called the morning of and 30 minutes before. Perfect. There was a small hiccup with the custom sizing of the mattress, but it was a factory issue and not the fault of MSC. The owner was both VERY responsive and pleasant in solving the issue. And everything turned out perfectly. I am typically one who shops for major brand names largely b/c I don't have much time or energy to research other options. My experience with My Sleep Cheap reminds me that I should, in fact, take the time to look beyond the obvious retailers lest I miss an honest, reliable, responsive smaller business like My Sleep Cheap. I cannot stress enough how wonderful they were to work with.
I purchased a mattress from sleep cheap about two weeks ago and i loved the experience. i went into the store on a friday evening around 4pm. I needed to purchase a new mattress for my guest room because i had company comeing in on saturday. When i got there i spoke to a man name Michael. He was so helpful and got my mattress delivered to me that day. It was by far the best price in memphis and they were the most helpful. I will be going back to buy myself a new mattress in a couple of months. If you need a new mattress this is the place to go in Memphis.
Bargain Depot Loved it They have used furniture in very good condition. Most appears to be only slightly used and/or well taken care of. Some name brand pieces including La Z Boy rockers with upholstery still immaculate. Solid wood cherry dining table and chairs, maple desk and hutch made by Hungerford in Memphis in the 60's. Wall pictures behind glass and professionally framed. I've purchased four pieces from them recently and plan to return in the future. Great store and nice people!
