I rode with co-workers to pick up lunch. They opted for chinese food in the mall, but I called in my order for a Polish Boy with "the works" (coleslaw, french fries and sauce). We dropped them off at the nearby mall, then went to pick up my sandwich and came back to the mall. While waiting for them to come out, I started to eat my sandwich. Well, needless to say I almost got mugged on my way back to the office by my co-workers. The aroma filled the entire car. I was almost finished with my sandwich by the time we returned to the office. "We're being tortured by your polish boy sandwich- so we're going to have polish boys for lunch tomorrow because your sandwich looked and smelled soooo good!" I'll probably do the same again myself....keep up the good work.....J. Crockett
Steves place is a very good Neighborhood restaurante with good basic food and good prices. Breaksfasts are very economical in price, the eggs are done just the way you like them and the hash browns are really great. The waitress's are very nice and bring plenty of coffie reiflls. They have a seperate side room if you want a booth that is more quiet. It's a great place to meet for small groups especially on saturday mornings. Steves does not have a parking lot, it's street parking only, and has a very plain atomosphere as far as decorations inside the place. Overall I rate it at 4 stars.
The food is great and the sauce was spectacular. However, they forgot my polish-boy and they were quite rude when I called back to make them aware. The female who answered the phone did not listen and was too focused on explaining that they didnt except call-in orders for carry out. She abrubtly hung up on me. This happened twice. I did recieve my polish boy about a week later..but since my name was not written on some board..I had to wait until the gentleman I spoke with was working again. UNREAL! I did get the polish boy i paid for later.
