I just wanted to share this experience. A group of us from work decided to go out tonight and have fun and try something different we have been hearing about this new indian place in the Stone Oak area. So we decided to go. we arrived to this nicely decorated restaurant the service was very friendly we wanted to order from the Menu some of the guests have eaten indian food in NYC so we went with her recommendations. And let me tell you we were pleasantly surprised with the unique flavors and textures. We order as appetizers Shrimp Pakoras and Vegetable Samosas then they brought Garlic Naan and Spinach Naan. then we had mixed grilled tandoori is a delicious mouth watering combination of chicken, lamb, fish and shrimp grilled in their famous tandoor oven, apparently is some kind of clay oven where everything is cooked. Then we had the Seekh Kabab. Someone else order the Shrimp Masala some saag paneer bhindi masala and channa masala as vegetables. This night out was a wonderful experience I am glad we were adventurous and decided to go there. I am coming back and telling everyone to try this restaurant !
I go to this Quiznos often, as they always have good service. I take my 5 and 2 year old and the kids meals are always so fun and edible. However, this past week, I went to several different places. The dentist, then the kid's dentist office, then the school, then the assisted living home nearby. In the process, I lost my wedding ring and engagement ring. I went back to Quiznos only as a last resort, kind of as a 'leave no stone unturned' thing. The whole time I just expected to get turned away. Instead, the owner quizzed me about my ring, then went to the back of the cashier register and PRESENTS MY RING TO ME!!! I was thrilled and really felt great about this establishment even more than ever. The man was the owner/manager and he returned the ring to me in an envelope, refusing a reward. Instead, he plans to give the reward to the lady who found it initially in the restroom. It just made my day, and just wanted to thank them over and over. Great food, clean restaurant, great service, good human beings who work there. All in one package.
I've been going to Clear Springs since I moved to SA in 2002 and they have always had great food and excellent service. I normally get the Shrimp Trio which is fried shrimp, grilled shrimp and shrimp brochette. Last night I decided to change things up and I must say it was an excellent choice. First we had their awesome onion rings and the fried pickles. I was surprised to find out that the fried pickles were really tasty. As an entree I had the Pan Seared Tilapia with Lemon Butter Sauce and I added shrimp on top. My fiancée had the Charbroiled Mahi with Dijon Peppercorn Sauce and shrimp on top as well. Needless to say he ate all of his food and was not disappointed at all. I enjoyed my dish as well but I wasn't even close to finishing any of my food. I'm sure they will make great leftovers!
