Lake Nona Ophthalmologyjessica_lynn rated

The other day I went to the iSpa at Lake Nona Ophthalmology. This was my first trip to a medical spa. Once I entered the office, I was warmly greeted by the front desk staff and was checked in for my appointment. After sitting for just a few minutes, I was brought back by Dr...more. Patel for my initial consultation. We went over my medical history and he asked me if I had any questions or concerns. I’m 29 and still get random acne break outs. I’ve been to dermatologists before, but now I am looking for a different approach for treating my acne. Besides wanting to have clear skin, I also want to start trying to maintain a youthful appearance. Even though I’m only 29, I feel that sooner is better than later when it comes to keeping up with the health of my skin! After I was finished with my consultation with Dr. Patel, he introduced me to his Aesthetician, Angie. She was very nice and brought me into a relaxing room where iSpa patients are treated. I told her my concerns and she agreed that coming in at my age was a great idea. Angie preformed a mini-facial, also known as a “lunch-time” facial. The practice is offering free mini-facials and consultations for all new patients right now, so I was sure to take advantage of such a deal. She evaluated my skin and then discussed what she thought would be the best course of treatment for my face. Angie informed me of the different products she thought would help and explained how they worked and how to use them. I never felt pressured to buy anything, but did leave with a product that I will use every day that will benefit my skin. I 100% plan on going back for another facial and look forward to my next relaxing visit to the iSpa at Lake Nona Ophthalmology. view less

Response to "disappointing service" –This poster does not know the statute she quotes because it clearly states differently. One should be very careful when accusing someone of wrong doing. Per Florida statute 64b8-10-003 \\"Recognizing that patient access to...more medical records is important and necessary to assure continuity of patient care, the Board of Medicine urges physicians to provide their patients a copy of their medical records, upon request.... The Board, however, also recognizes that there is a cost of reproducing medical records ...... Therefore, the following rule sets forth the permitted costs for the reproduction of medical records. 1 Any person licensed pursuant to Chapter 458, F.S., required to release copies of patient medical records may condition such release upon payment by the requesting party of the reasonable costs of reproducing the records. 2 For patients and governmental entities, the reasonable costs of reproducing copies of written or typed documents or reports shall not be more than the following a For the first 25 pages, the cost shall be 1.00 per page. b For each page in excess of 25 pages, the cost shall be 25 cents.\\" I am Dr. Stewart Dobbins. I know this poster well. It seems that she owes us money, when we sent her a bill she argued the fact. She then turned around and transfered. The charges quoted to her was an attempt to get her to come to the office to pick up her records and to collect the money she owed. We transfered her records for free to her new physician. BTW, to this day she has NEVER paid us the money she owes..Go figure! I pray she finds some serenity and does no one undo harm by FALSELY accusing them of wrong doings. view less

Orlando Orthopaedic Centerjessica_lynn rated

The other day I went to the Orlando Orthopaedic Center for a sprained ankle. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Funk and his staff. Once I entered the office, I was warmly greeted by the front desk staff and was checked in for my appointment. After sitting ...morefor just a few minutes, I was brought back by Dr. Funk’s staff for my appointment. I informed the nurse how I sprained my ankle and the amount of pain I’ve been in. Then we discussed some of my medical history. I had sprained the same ankle when I was a teenager playing softball. I was in an air cast for a week. Because of this previous injury, I was concerned about the amount of time I would have to be off my ankle this time. I have a very active two year old son. After I was finished with my discussion with Dr. Funk’s nurse, she left the room, and Dr. Funk entered shortly after she walked out. He examined my ankle and tested my range of motion. Luckily, I have a great family support system and have people that can help me with my son. Trying to keep my off my feet as much as possible with a two year old is a very hard task. Thanks to the excellent care of Dr. Funk and the staff at Orlando Orthopaedic Center I am on the road to recovery and look forward to running around with my son again soon! view less
