At the first of January 2010, I went in to the Carpet Liquidator store on 4th Ave in Seattle to buy a carpet remnant so that I could replace the carpeting on a cat climber that was looking a bit worse for wear. Catherine Smith helped me that day, and while I was there I saw many different hardwood laminate flooring materials that I really didn't expect to see in a carpet store. My wife and I had been considering removing the 20 year old dark chocolate carpet mess from our home and replacing it with wood laminate for several years, and I knew I had to bring her to this store. The following day I brought my wife Larisa along and with Catherine's help picked out some Birch laminate that was exactly what we were looking for, and it was being sold for a very reasonable price. Catherine was very helpful with her advice, and she made our choice much easier. We had originally decided on Pecan laminate, but ended up with flooring that actually suited us better than what our first choice had been. We were encouraged to buy a couple boxes more than what we estimated that we needed, and were assured that we could return the unused boxes if they were not needed. Fortunately we did not open the last three boxes that we purchased and we did return them within 30 days of purchase. As I learned only when I brought them back, if either of these things had not been done, that would have made the return difficult if not possible, and I would have been very annoyed if that had happened. Actually if that had happened, this would have been a much different review. If I fault Catherine about anything, it would be these two details. I thank my guardian Angles for watching out for me, because I didn't know about those two requirements. Catherine was very nice to work with, gave us great information and tips, we received a very good product for a very good price from Carpet Liquidators, and I earned a few points with my wife. Gotta get those points where ever you can in life. If you go in to see Catherine, ask her about her Daughter who plans to become a heart surgeon. She is only 12 as of January 2010, but has known what she wants to do with her life since she was 8. Catherine is obviously very proud of her, as she should be. Terry Martin West Seattle

called Barney's Eco Clean because of the positive reviews on a best of Seattle Washington services website. I have to say, I’m batting 1,000 for every vendor I’ve hired from here and Barney's eco clean is yet another home run. I called the number and talked with karen who was right on in from the get-go. She gave me a ball-park price that was fair and competitive. I got a good feeling about their service right from the beginning and setup an appointment right away. Barney and his son Steve came over on the date and time I agreed to. In fact, they called me a couple of times beforehand letting me know that they might be able to come earlier if I was interested. That was a nice change in plans as I had other things planned later that day. As others have mentioned about this great Seattle carpet cleaning service, Barney is a very nice man, honest and very good at what he does. Steve his son, is also very hard working and focused on the task at hand. They completed every area of the Seattle home including an area rug I asked to have cleaned at the very last minute. This area rug was so dirty I didn’t think it was worth a good Seattle carpet cleaning. Barney worked on it and ended up restoring the rug to almost new. After they finished everything, including all of the stairs (which is a lot of work), they went over what they did and mentioned the 2 small areas that were sun damaged in my master bedroom and bathroom. I already knew about these areas but it was nice that they provided a complete summary of the work they did and the areas that they could not do anything about. They left me with some shoe covers/booties that I could use in case I needed to walk on the drying carpet. Everything was dry and ready for normal use by the end of the day. I can’t tell you how great my carpets look. I actually was considering new carpet for the entire house before these Seattle carpet cleaning angeles came out. Great job! Highly recommended.
was impressed with the reviews for Barney's Eco Clean, and decided to give them a try for our annual Seattle carpet cleaning. Wow, the reviews are entirely accurate! I made an appt. with a very pleasant lady on the phone about a week before our cleaning was to be scheduled. She gave me a window of time the team would be here, and they did show up towards the late end within that time period. I rcd. a phone call telling me they were running late. The owner of this great Seattle carpet cleaners business, Barney, came in person, and very kindly explained to me about the services to be performed. He also looked at our tiled floors and advised me about the feasibility of having them professionally cleaned in the future. Barney is a sports fan, and we had a fun conversation about the Seattle Seahawks and Mariners while he measured the rooms and gave me an estimate for the cleaning. The second man with the actual carpet cleaning van (Victor?) was also very pleasant. Once he arrived, they both went to work and did a fantastic job in a very quick period of time, maybe two hours for multiple rooms and stairs, some heavily stained with pet problems. Barney very kindly placed fans in the cleaned areas so they dried very quickly, and he even let me borrow the fans over night so the carpets were completely dry in less than 24 hours. The carpets looked like new when they were done! Barney gave us a complementary bottle of spot cleaner and showed me how to use it. He also found a small tear in our carpet near the patio door, and came back to fix it ( for free!) the very next day when he returned to pick up the fans. This was service way above and beyond the call, and we will definitely call Barney and Eco Clean. for the future when you need great carpet cleaners in Seattles, I wholeheartedly recommend this fine company.
