I recently went to eat at this cute little asian restaurant that specialized in three oriental cuisines. Hidden behind Don Fernando's, a Cuban version of "Long John Silver", it was especially hard to find but luck had it that I spotted this small neighborhood jewel. When you walk in there's nothing fancy about it but you can feel the comfort of home. They also have the traditional seating on the floor right to the side of the door. The asian decor and beautiful orchids gives the restaurant a traditional/vintage ambiance. With only about 10 tables and a sushi bar I felt very cozy. The menu is more like a book with so many choices for Chinese, Thai, and Japanese foods. We ordered the fried rice which tasted better than any other chinese restaurant I've ever been to, and trust me I've been to a lot. The thai curry was delicious! And the sushi was by far the best I've had. Shibui, Bonsai, Akashi, Sushi Samba, Sushi Rock, Sushi Maki, Moon, Ruson, all cannot even be compared in freshness and in flavor! Kam Wah is in a league of it's own. I kinda feel a little guilty for exposing this exceptional gem but I felt the need to share my wonderful experience. Check it out... you'll love it!!!!

My daughter and I went to Hurricane Grill & wings yesterday night. As soon as we walked in we were greeted right away. I ordered the fish dip as an appetizer and it came out quick. We fell in love with the fish dip, call us fish dip fanatics but usually I order fish dip in most restaurants if they have it and this one is this best one yet. I ordered the Mahi salad and my daughter ordered the 10 piece wings with firecracker sauce. The salad was ok but my daughter really liked her wings. She said the wings were a bit spicy but pleasurable. I have to say the restaurant is way to small but the atmosphere made it relaxed. I would definitely come again for the fish dip!!!
Simple Food and Great Prices If you're looking for some no-nonsense great American Breakfast / Diner food spot, this is it. Nothing fancy to look at but the food is the closest thing to home-made that you can get. Great service, Value and the place has got TONS of personality. Head to South Beach if you're looking for "high style" plate designs or servers that could care less if you're there or not; then pay through the nose for uninspired recreations which still leave you hungry. Looking for "Good Eats?" this place fits the bill.
