when i moved to corpus,i checked out several tattoo studios before choosing Tattoo Nation. Now i have seen a few reviews, the people thought the artist there were rude,or they didnt like their phone ediquite,or their piercing rejected...even belly buttons have the chance of rejection, and all though the artist were not the politest, they were far from the rudest i came across in other shops here in corpus, and Rene, the first artist i met there, and the first one to tat me,says the F word 3 times a sentence...but i wasnt there looking for a rated g tattoo studio,i was there to find artist i was comfortable with to continue my addiction. Well once you realize he isnt going off on you with all the swearing, you realize he is just very passionate about what he does...he talks 3 miles a minute, but once in his chair, you find out why,he has talent...but anyways, all the guys there do great work. Since i have been tatted by Gabe, and talking with Mike now about my elbow, and im not real big into the piercing,i did have Sketch do a dermal, and i have seen hundreds of piercings done while ive been in the chair or just stopped by to chat with the artist, they always leave very happy. And i have seen then get rude with customer, but every time,it was the customer causing it. If you saw some of the crazies these guys have to deal with, you might understand. So if something doesnt heal quite right,go see them, let them touch you up,the gaurantee their work. Instead of leaving neg reviews trying to mess with the flow. All in all,Tattoo Nation is the only place i get ink,and the guys there very unique individuals. Get to know them. If they are rude to you...you deserve it
I'm shopping around for customer reviews, as many do. I stumble across this post wondering if it's real or not, as I do with all posts since I've noticed vindictive ex employees/friends/etc post poor reviews as well as companies posting good reviews for their own companies. I've come to the conclusion that this post in particular didn't matter- Customers are always right when it comes to what they want on their body. If I want to be covered in pink polka dots you have no right to tell me it would look better in orange. I have to look at it for the rest of my life, not you. That comment alone makes me not want to visit your business and only backs up the customers complains- You're rude and arrogant. I understand you want to make "suggestions" to what " might "be better, but to say "the customer is not always right" is wrong. To boot, that makes every other post after this one look fake because they all claim you guys are "Oh so nice and professional without that 'rockstar' attitude" .... So why the 4 stars? Because for all I know you're talented despite your lack of social skills. Why not 5? Because I've never been there. I'm giving my best attempt of a neutral review rating. I'm just here to say that I'm sure I"m not the only one who has read that and said "Wow" and "walked out the door." You may want to think about that.
THIS IS THE BEST TATTOO SHOP I HAVE EVER SEEN OR HEARD ABOUT IN SOUTH TEXAS. THE ARTIST'S OUT THERE ARE THE GREATEST. I'VE VISITED OTHER SHOPS IN CORPUS CHRISTI, BEFORE GETTING MY FIRST TATTOO DONE. WORK THE MAIN ARTIST TOLD HIM WHAT I WANTED IN A BACK PIECE AND LET HIM ADD AND TAKE AWAY FROM THE DESIGN. IN THREE WEEKS WE HAD A BACK PIECE WENT TO THE ALAMO CITY TATTOO SHOW AND CAME HOME WITH SECOND PLACE FOR BACK MALE PIECE. BEEN GOING THERE FOR APPROXIMATELY 2 YEARS AND WORKING ON A FULL BODY SUIT AND IT IS COMING ALONG REAL WELL. ANOTHER GOOD THING THAT I'M PROUD ABOUT THIS SHOP IS THAT I UNDERSTAND THIS SHOP IS THE ONLY ONE IN SOUTH TEXAS TO SCORE 100% WITH THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT FOR AN INSPECTION. I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST CHECKING OUT THIS SHOP. I WOULD ALMOST GUARANTEE WHEN YOU CHECK IT OUT YOU WILL BE GETTING A TATTOO THERE. THE OTHER COOL THING ABOUT THIS SHOP IS OVER 90% OF THE TATTOO'S ARE HAND DRAWN ON THE BODY AND NO TWO ARE THE SAME.
