I am writing a quick review on Holland from a recent visit to South Florida my family and I made a couple of weeks ago. In all, I reserved three separate transport needs with the company over a two week period and they handled all but one of them flawlessly. I would have given them a 5 star review if all three service dates were flawless. I would have given them a 2 for Holland blowing one of the service dates. But they gets solid 4.5 stars because the owner handled what could have been a lousy situation as professionally as possible. Let's start with the great: 2 of 3 visits (#1 FLL to Miami Beach and #3 MIA to FLL) went flawlessly. Driver was prompt, courteous, friendly, helpful and his SUV was pretty spotless. Another very positive thing to note was the booking with the owner, Hans. The information exchange was incredibly detailed and I thought the pricing was very fair. lastly, their driver in pick up #2 completely no showed. When I called the 800# early on a SUnday morning, the owner Hans picked up and spent the next 15 minute trying to figure out what happened. He was as apologetic and angry about the situation as I was (I am more calm a week later).The bad: obviously the missed pick up at my hotel for a flight. We did get their in time when hotel coordinate a cab for the five of us. If it were not for Hans' genuine concern and the fact that he cut the pick up #3 bill in half to compensate me for the missed pick up on #2, this Yelp would have been much worse (obviously). But given the super high quality experience I had with the initial set up, the follow-up and the exceptional driver (Paul from Chicago), Holland earned a 4 star from me. Too generous, maybe. But as I am also in the service business, I know that part of customer satisfaction excellence is recovery and Hans did just that.

12/12/2013 Am I surprised because on Tuesday of this week my wife and daughter and I got off a cruise ship to take a taxi to the airport. I left my jacket with my car keys and hat and gloves in the cab and didn't notice it missing until check-in at the airport. With help of local county sheriff deputy who called the dispatcher of the Friendly Checker Cab Co. who put my loss over the radio within a half hour down the road a half mile from the airport the taxi driver was waving my jacket out of his window so that anyone missing it would notice --I thought pretty smart on his part.--- the only thing we knew was that the driver was from Haiti not being real sure of the taxi company or being able to recognize the driver. He I am quite sure made a special trip back to the airport JUST to deliver it. My daughter had taken a cab back to the ship canal and was able to talk to several who really wanted to find out who ETC so give the company 6 STARS and the County Sheriff his wishes for Christmas. THANKS Friendly Checker CAB Company--besides the driver was the most courteous and a young family man interested in talking etc He apologized to both me and my wife for not checking if we left anything BUT was entirely my own fault and being in a hurry. My advice is to note the number and name of the cab and even the driver from now on--my daughter found out that people leave even laptops etc in cabs and other means of transportation. Best limo service you can ask for it, thank you Millenium Limo My name is Lisa Canejo. We spoke on the phone on Saturday 3/6, for the first time. We discussed a change of times for the limo pick-up and other matters. You were very gracious in giving me a better package than was previously quoted to me. I certainly appreciate that. You gave me Luis's cell phone number, as he was going to be the driver. The purpose of this email is to inform you that Luis was wonderful! He was professional, pleasant, polite, friendly, organized and made our two young girls (13) and my friend and I feel comfortable and welcomed. He called me early Sunday to verify all information, provided information to me so I could be organized for his arrival and then, as I asked, he called me a few minutes before he arrived at my house. I cannot more strongly suggest what a wonderful evening we all had. Much of that was due to the Taylor Swift concert, but much of that was due to Luis. When I said to you that you have my future business in our conversation Saturday (I was referred to you my party planner,) our interaction with Luis was so positive, that my statement has become even stronger. I know in business, from experience, that people frequently call or contact an owner of a company solely to complain. Therefore, I chose to write to provide you very positive feedback regarding one of your employees.
