Sam's row boat is a Sinking Ship. The

Sam's row boat is a Sinking Ship. The food was really BELOW average, if that, and the service was terrible the staff including the bartenders were drunk......and the Chinese manager was rude when we asked him a question and ......busy chasing the help.

We hung out at least 20 minutes on the patio before anybody ever even took our drink order. My husband had the crab cakes Yuk; I got fish chips, a staple, and darned if the breading wasn't super soggy. Not what I had in mind!

I say pass on this joint and head to Quality Seafood for a good meal and avoid young drunk waitresses.

Great patio with a fantastic view!

The patio is HUGE and their are TV's everywhere. We go there by boat and sit outside on the patio which has a great view of the water and the sunset.

Try the blackened shrimp tacos! Muy Bien!

Rough Crowd/Bad Service

I have been to several of the Sam's Boat concepts over the years, but this is the worst one. The service is horrible. They act like they are doing you a favor. The food was nothing to write home about and you could die of old age before you get your food. Then there was the crowd. It was full of what looked like gang member want-to-be's and a lot of waiters from the Kemah Boardwalk. It was kind of like going to a run down trailer park. I felt like I needed to rush home and take a shower to get the dirt off. It is a shame, because the restaurant has a cool look, but the management doesn't know when to ask undesirables to leave. Certain behavior in public place is unacceptable. This is hard to convey without seeing it for yourself, but I felt like I was in a Mad Max movie.
