My family believes this doctor performed major surgery on our 90 year old mother, who had already been diagnosed with 4th stage cancer and had not been given long to live. The surgery completely destroyed her quality of life, while prolonging her life, ultimatly to reach the same end. This doctor received $28,500 from Medicare for this surgery, and never had a follow-up visit with his patient when she was released from the hospital. He even failed to remove her sutures, until they became infected, and then it took 3 days to get him to do a 5 minute procedure. We believe Dr. Bannon's decision to perform this surgery was unethical, immoral and greedy. It has caused our mother prolonged suffering and the loss of her life's savings.
