Went into this store for the 1st time about a month ago. Had mail ordered some pieces and needed to return them. I live 2 hours away. There was no mention of return time on receipt or on website that I could find. I went in to return items and was about 2 weeks past their return time of a month. I was informed it was a month once in store. I was treated very poorly. Practically shamed by the sales people for trying to return the items at that point. I've never felt more unwelcomed! I wasn't greeted once in store and I was the only customer. I walked around for a bit before going up to the counter. Long story short, I ended up speaking to the manager. She turned out to be delightful. Her name is Dana. It is because of her that my experience turned around. I ended up buying even a few more things. I would not want to deal with anyone in that store except for her. Shame the whole staff couldn't be that accommodating and pleasant. Surprised at the stark difference between Dana and her staff tho, must admit. Frankly, the sales staff was so unfriendly, I would think twice about going in again even if I did deal with Dana only.

We saw this restaurant featured on TLC's Best Food Ever Series on the "Sensational Sandwiches" episode and since we were planning on visiting Scottsdale in just a few months from then, we put it on our itinerary. I'm so glad we did! My husband got the Sasquatch Burger - 2 grilled cheese sandwiches made from Texas Toast and in between them, a huge fresh burger with the fixins'. I got the Smokey The Burger and you could taste how fresh the meat and the cheese were. We visited during lunch on a Monday and there was a lot of tables open. They also have a full bar and several beers on tap. Their fries were great and you can choose between regular, sweet potato, or onion rings, which were all tasty. Among the three of us, we got one of each. It seems they have a more happening night life than a lunch crowd so next time we're there, we hope to make it Friday or Saturdays because they have live music most of the time I think. The service was pretty good, drinks didn't go dry and our waitress checked on us several times. You all enjoy!
Of all the Zipps in the greater Scottsdale/Phoenix area this one is my 3rd favorite to the Zipps on Thomas and like 56th street as my second favorite, and no Zipps in my little opinion beats the3 Via De Ventura Zipps at Via De Ventura and Hayden.. This Zipps has shuffle board, darts, pool tables, great bar seating and an overall good vibe! Mini downfall is the jukebox music selection last I checked was outdated and included irrelevant bands of which most shouldn't be in the music industry in general, not to mention within a bar's jukebox.. Food is average for bar/grill food; only decent food item is the burger and winga.. Lastly, the daily drink/food specials are all very affordable and include good picks!
