Overall

Horrible, awful, nightmarish company. Chest month was great and these rubbish jockeys took over. The only thing that was timely was the bill. I never had a month without a snafu. Then they cancelled me after leaving trash for weeks. Dammed if I didn't get a bill though. Would give zero stars if I could.

Overall

Was with Chesmont Disposal, which was bought out Interstate Waste Management. Advanced Disposal bought everything out and since then my service has been crap. Missed pickups, price raises every quarter and even after calling customer service about the mispickups I still get no service. I DO NOT recommend using them unless you want to waste your money.

Trash service has been stellar - but billing is a nightmare. Auto debits from my account that customer service claims they don't accept, but that my bank and checking account statements confirm were done. Service suspended, yet payments were debited from my account. Switching to another service solely because of billing issues.

Overall

Advanced driver decided to use my driveway to use as a turnaround for 5 weeks as opposed to going to end of no outlet road turnaround point, that all other services use. Including school buses , trash ,gas ,oil ,electric and cable ect. All successfully use..

I witnessed advanced use my driveway a minimum 5 times ,Damaging Driveway

To turnaround .Kevin Davidson came out and took pictures and turned over to insurance

Insurance took more pictures .

Insurance informed me Advanced informed me that Advanced instructed them not to pay for their admitted damages. TELL EVERYONE ,

DO NOT USE ADVANCED DISPOSAL SERVICE!!!!

Overall

On 2/28/14 I called in to request a dumpster be put at an apartment building. I spoke with the sales person and they stated they could have it there by 3/10/14. That date passed and no dumpster. I called the same sales person on 3/14/14 and they said "I tried to find the location but couldn't so we didn't deliver it. I explained everything again then he remembered that he never sent a contract so that needed to be done. I received a contract that was for 5 years, the rate could increase anytime, and it could only be cancelled with a 60 day notice but not more than a 120 day notice and only after the 5 years was up. I negotiated that contract to 3 years, a rate increase in the 3rd year of no more than 3%. I signed this agreement on March 17th. The dumpster was finally delivered on 3/21/14.



I got my first bill. It included a pro-rated fee, an admin fee and a gas tax charge. All of which were guaranteed not to be on the bill. It was one flat rate per the contract. After speaking with the sales person, he said all of this would be fixed and I wouldn't be charged the first month due to all of the issues.



The trash should've been picked up in the week March 31st. No pickup was done. Then, I called on 4/10/14 regarding the trash still not being picked up. I was told it was in the system and would be picked up ASAP. 4/15/14 - no trash picked up STILL. I called and emailed. Again, promised it would be picked up the next day. 4/17/14 - no trash picked up STILL. I called and emailed. They said it is on the schedule for 4/18. Still no pick up as of 4/22. I called and emailed. Now they said that a bridge (only one direction) is the issue. The weight limit is too high for the bridge (1st we've ever heard this especially since all of the neighbors receive trash service fine). Now it has been over a month and no pickup. Needless to say but, our tenant were not happy.



I began calling the corporate office, the sales person and they gave me numbers for the two people in charge of operations. I received NO calls back. 5/2/14 - I received a 2nd bill with all of the same "hidden charges" and a late fee for not paying the 1st bill (even though I was informed that it would be taken care of and I didn't owe anything) My 2nd bill was $250+ for no pick up.



5/5/14 I called the corporate office trying to get something done. They told me that a decision was made to remove the dumpster.



5/6/14 - dumpster was removed. Trash was taken out and left on the ground for us to take care of because it was too full (because it hasn't been picked up in 46 days).



Do not use this company. They said my bill would be wiped clean but I'll believe it when I see it. The hidden fees and their contract terms were ridiculous. It is a shame that no one could just do what they are supposed to do. Save your money.

Overall

We are new Advanced Disposal customers since 12/1/13 and very satisfied. We needed to have some back and forth with the office about the right collection route for our address -- our post office is one zip code; our little crossroads town another -- but the staff at Advanced Disposal, from customer service through dispatch -- responded to us nicely, including a special pick up and a follow-up telephone call to confirm that all was good. We also met the drivers for our route -- friendly and professional people. Additionally, I liked the clear and timely message the company left on our voice mail about how the Christmas Wednesday would be handled. No regrets from us about going with Advanced Disposal!

Overall

Do not use this company. Horrible customer service. Rude people with limited knowledge are the people you will speak to. I was even hung up on by a person who decide it was easier to hang up than find an answer to my question. Billing nightmares are also something you will face. I have been billed late fees twice because they did not take my automatic payment out on time.

I want to warn as many people as I can as to how horrible this company is. I have been trying for over a month now to have a representative help me in closing my account but I have been completely ignored.

If i could give zero stars I would, customer service is about 20 minutes to get someone completely unhelpful on the phone. Service is worse. Online bill pay layout is horrendous. Hidden fees, the list goes on....

Overall

This trash service is horrible. Was previously ChesMont, then merged with Interstate, and now is Advanced. Customer service is beyond poor. Drivers seem to decide at random when and if trash will be picked up. Company will not provide credit for when trash isn't picked up, but also won't send someone back out to pick up houses that they "missed". It's a 50/50 gamble on any given day if your trash will actually be collected. Stay away from this company!!!
