Drive and Shine Car Wash, Oil Change and Auto Detailing

We purchased a brand new Dodge Ram and to keep it clean we bought a package for unlimited washes at this carwash.The first time we used the automatic wash we noticed scratches down both sides of the vehicle. When we contacted them about the incident we were given the runaround until finally 2 days later the manager spoke to us and said that it was "physically impossible" for it to leave scratches and they "wash bentleys and do not damage vehicles and made us out to be liars. They manager had very poor customer service skills. Quite frankly I am offended at how rude this man was. Please do not waste your time or your money.

3 vehicles in the 3 bays. I pull in waiting to be directed towards a lane. No direction given. 2 other cars pull in and finally they direct us all to a lane. I'm directed in behind a jeep that is getting ever service imaginable done. The 2 other cars are in and out and 1 more vehicle is pulled in and another is pulling up. I dropped their clip board on the ground and drove away. Yep they left me with paperwork to fill out and never came back.

First off they say there car washes are unlimited when that’s false due to you are limited to one car wash a day so how is it unlimited car washes I would love to know.

I’ve been a long time customer of Drive & Shine and their people are always so friendly and eager to help. They explain the services thoroughly and I always know exactly what I’m getting. I’ve had my car washed other places and it never comes out looking as nice. Plus, my daughter loves it. Every time we’re near she always asks if we can “go see the lights and the monkeys!” It’s the only carwash she isn’t terrified of. I like that they are locally owned and are environmentally friendly – their tunnels are long so they don’t have to use aggressive equipment and chemicals to get your car cleaned.
I love getting my oil changed there as well. I don’t know anything about the inner workings of cars so it’s nice to go and feel like you can trust what the techs tell you. They showed me exactly what was needed and also let me know what was still good. They took out my air filter and showed me it was still in great shape and didn’t need replaced instead of trying to talk me into a new one.
The guys in the detail shop are also awesome! Last summer, I had a half gallon of chocolate milk roll out of one of my shopping bags and under the seat. Before I discovered it - It exploded! The guys in the detail shop not only got the stain out of my light tan carpet and seats, the nasty, sour milk smell was completely gone. I didn’t think it could be done but they did it!

AWFUL job and even worse customer service. Paid $20 through a fundraiser to have car washed and cleaned inside and out. Called back to talk to a mgr because mats weren't removed and cleaned underneath. Barely looked like it was vacuumed at all. Mgr Kevin said Ken detail mgr would help. Ken said they did the best they could. REALLY?! NEVER going back there again!!

This place is fantastic. I went there over the weekend and was pleased with many aspects of the service provided. I got a Basic Car Wash which was $8. It was better than any car wash in Northwest Indiana, and I only got the Basic. They offer many more types of washes should you prefer something more. Then I got my car vaacumed, windows, dash, floor mats, and door james washed for only an additional $8. The employees were knowledgable and friendly. Because there services range in price and detail I would recommend this to anyone who (like me) has an older car and wants to maintain it, or to anyone with an expensive, new car and everyone in between.

I have gone to quite a few detailing/car wash places before but none of them has ever done such a fantastic job like this place. They got into every crack of my car and made sure everything was dusted and polished. Having a cherry red sports car I just have to stand out. Thank you Drive and Shine Car Wash! I will make sure to come back more often on my lunch breaks for car washes!

These guys do amazing work. I let them detail all my cars on a regular basis and am always pleased, whether its a full wax and polish, or just a regular wash. The price is good, the service is fast and professional and they do good work. I am pretty serious about this sort of stuff too, and usually do it myself because I don;t trust anybody else. I guess this is why the shop is always full of exotics and luxury cars. Thanks guys!

Great quality work my truck looks like new well worth it after a buff wax and carpets it's new again

My husband's car received damage from this car wash in the fall 2008. The owner was rude and down right mean. They would not pay for the damage even though it was clearly the car wash's fault. I would strongly suggest people take their business elsewhere.

They scratched my car in front of me and the manager was rude and simply told me that they werent going to do anything and wanted me to leave. The manager was pushy and I beleive it was becasue I am a female.

I am amazed at the level of service and quality of wash I get from these guys. Nowhere in Chicago is there a wash like this.
