Blackbirds Grille

Arrived at 7 PM on a Wednesday. The place was busy but we were seated in 5-10 minutes. Everything took forever to arrive. Iced tea took 15 minutes. We ordered wings as an appetizer but the waitress neglected to ask which kind we wanted. 30 minutes later we got some chewy wings that were insanely hot. My date and I complained to our waitress that in the 90 minutes it took to get our food, every other table that arrived after us was already eating their entrees. Some were already done. She said, "Didn't they tell you it would be a long wait?. No one had. But why were we the last served? She offered to buy us a dessert or coffee.As we tried to enjoy our food, a drunk came over from the bar and told us that he was the owner. When I would not accept his explanation about how the kitchen was busy, he looked annoyed and went back to the bar. As we tried to leave after our meal (it was now 9:30) the owner again came over to me and said that not only was the kitchen busy, but then it got busier. I told him that it was our first visit there and that it was a bad experience. Again he looked annoyed at me. Maybe he should have sobered up and helped out in his busy kitchen.

nice atmosphere great food a little pricey but great food very tasty Cajun food.
