RUDE, INCONSIDERATE and COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!
PRIOR to scheduling an appointment, I called the Biolife office and gave a DETAILED description of my symptoms and medical history. The staff member I spoke to assured me that they could help. I then scheduled an appointment and at the time of the appointment, AGAIN provided a DETAILED description of all my diagnoses, symptoms, etc (this time in writing) to the nurse. They drew blood for labwork, scheduled a follow-up consultation with the MD and asked for payment. They said that the amount I paid would cover both the labwork AND the follow-up consultation with the MD.
Subsequently, they cancelled my follow-up appointment TWICE (once b/c the labwork wasn't back and once b/c the MD had a family emergency). Finally, over a month later, less than 45 minutes prior to my (3x rescheduled) appointment, the MD called to say she couldn't treat me b/c of my PRE-EXISTING conditions! Since I'd made these WELL KNOWN PRIOR to scheduling/having bloodwork/paying (not to mention that these conditions are supposed to be THEIR SPECIALTY), I was shocked and requested at least a partial refund - especially since I'd never had the f/u appointment and the labs they'd done only CONFIRMED what I'd already already told them. They refused and were very rude. TOTAL WASTE of my time and money!
