Ultrasound
Savannah Vascular Institute is a world-class center of excellence dedicated to the compassionate and state-of-the-art treatment of disorders of arteries and veins specializing in minimally invasive alternatives to open surgery, such as radiofrequency vein ablation treatments for varicose veins, angioplasty and stenting for arterial blockages, and endografts for aneurysms. Savannah Vascular Institute offers a dedicated office-based facility with state-of-the-art efficient and comprehensive outpatient access and vein services. We have combined the safety and technology of a hospital setting with the convenience and efficiency of an office practice. Utilizing the latest in ultrasound and fluoroscopy (x-ray for arteries and veins), our Vascular Ultrasound Lab is sanctioned by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) for non-invasive imaging of blood clots, swollen legs, arterial blockages, aneurysms, carotid artery diseases, and varicose veins. Our Physicians strongly believe in disease prevention through patient education, lifestyle changes, and medications to lower complications from vascular disease.
Radiology
Responsibilities include entering surgical, interventional radiology, and E/M office charges in accordance with governmental regulations and third-party payer policies; demonstrate expertise in coding methodologies; demonstrate proficiency in identifying appropriate sources for accurate information gathering (i.e., which information systems, software applications, federal regulatory reference materials, third party payer policy manuals, etc.); review and recommend policy and procedure changes to improve coding, charge capture, and the revenue cycle process; meet productivity standards while ensuring efficient work processes; and provide feedback to management and physicians regarding coding and reimbursement.
Interventional Radiology
Savannah Vascular Institute has been dedicated to providing comprehensive vascular care to our patients for 27 years. Savannah Vascular Institute, a large vascular surgery physician practice, is seeking a qualified Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to work in a busy, fast paced surgical practice in our Savannah and Bluffton, SC offices as well as weekly travel to our satellite office locations. Job responsibilities include monitoring of vital signs, reviewing medications, wound care, and assisting physicians. We are looking for someone who is outgoing, can work independently, and enjoys working with a largely geriatric population. BCLS required. Wound care experience, electronic health record experience and MA Certification a plus. Monday through Friday. No evenings or weekend shifts. Some daytime travel to satellite locations.
