My daughter started there 3 weeks ago and myself, my husband and child are very happy with the daycare. The people in the front office are so nice and helpful, Serenity is in the 1 year old room, both the full time teachers in there are awesome and very on top of things. They seem to "always" go the extra mile to take care of the children. Personally I have seen some reviews on here that mention a child be thrown out , well here is my view on that, if your child get's thrown out of day care at "4" this gives you a little time to pre-pare your child for real school, daycares are less likely to throw your child out for being a discipline problem as they are getting paid to keep your child, public schools will have a field day with your misbehaved child as well as your attitude on blaming everyone but your child. Excuse me for saying, but it is important for a parent to uphold the rules of school/daycare where there are "no" rules enforced is "no" place I want my child. When a parent blames the facility for the child's actions, the parent is setting the child up for failure, in life "our" children might not like the rules but "we" as parents, teachers etc. must stand together in showing the child by example, and for this child being talked about here, it is not the child that has the issues, the child is living by example and that is why the child is not in daycare any longer. My child come from a small daycare where I was not happy with the facility, and there was no rules or consequences there, the children were dropped off and "anything" was acceptable, the children would fight , scream and show out and it was fine, this is not a day care I chose to keep my daughter at. I want my daughter to have care, structure, education, and discipline in her everyday life and most of all, I want her to know that I will never tolerate her being disruptive, rude or dis-respectful at school / daycare or with any adult any where. The first time I pick my child up or get a call that she is not following rules, being mean or what-ever trust me, my child will know that this is not acceptable and will have my full attention addressing the situation. People need to stop blaming the people around them for their children's problems, that is not teaching the child to be "accountable" !!!! Anyways, as for the facility, I plan on my daughter going there till the day she does not need daycare or after care and I feel and have viewed this facility and employee's as "great" !!! Now will there ever be a situation I am not too please with "maybe" and if so, I will discuss the matter at hand not teach my child the facility has no right to discipline. Thank you for all of you that help me day to day making my princess "Serenity" all she can be, the facility and employees are worth every time I give them for my daughter to be safe, structured and in good hands. These kids eat good there too !!!!! The state does not participate in funding if the facility is not up to par !!!!!!

We found this daycare on a website and it came highly recommended...I must say that it is true to it's word. From the very first day they have been professional and everything is done by the state. Which makes me feel good as a parent to know that my girls are safe and well taken care of. My husband did the inital set up with the our middle child due to me being on bed rest with my third. On my first visit to pick up the girls, I was asked for my ID..I thought that was a good thing due to so much is happening now a days. I recommend New Beginnings all the time to every one that asks about childcare. The staff is now apart of our family and my girls simply adore them. I love the fact that during the summer months they keep the kids active. My girls have been apart of this facicity for 5 years and I can't see going anywhere else. most importantly they teach your kids more than just abc's and numbers..my daughter was more than prepared for Pre-K and now she is an IB Kindergartner. Narvia Williams and her wonderful staff is the best..Thank you for your many years of service. Carl & Tamiko Gregory
Kicklighter Academy answered my call for quality childcare, an enriching environment, caring teachers, and of course, reasonable rates. This facility opened up my eyes and reinstated my trust in others. You want long-term care, security-coded doors and cameras, wide-open privacy fenced playground, age appropriate curriculum and classrooms, no wait lists, off the beaten path and still in the center of town; this proud parent encourages you to just take a tour. Don’t take my word for it, see for yourself. It is located on Seawright Drive , off Eisenhower across from National Guard Armory. My daughter is now 4 years and has blossomed due to this school. If you want to escape the childcare woes, you owe it to yourself to give your child truly the best! Look no further than Kicklighter Academy . Oh yeah, but the way, this school has absolutely NO state violations, in case you were wondering!
