Operational since 1886, the Saukville Fire Department is a paid-on-call fire department that responds to various emergency fire situations. It operates a fire station and protects residential, rural, and light and heavy industrial areas. The department provides fire protection, rescue, and emergency medical services. it has an elevated rescue team that specializes in high-level rope and repelling rescue services. The Saukville Fire Department employs firefighters who are trained to National Fire Protection Association standards by the Wisconsin Technical College System. Its training services include sprinkler systems, wildland fires, ropes, knots and hazardous materials handling, as well as communications and fire prevention. The department also has a team of medical technicians who offer various emergency medical services.
