Overall
Jen is nothing shy of amazing....

Jen is nothing shy of amazing. Jen came very highly recommended and did not dissapoint. I walked into the shop to meet with Jen and from the start she was not only extremely professional, she understood me and what I was looking for. She took the time to talk to me, listen to my wants and ideas and came up with a custom Celtic Cross that I couldn't have ever imagined. We talked a couple of times, finalized the details and made the appointment. Superbowl Sunday 2012. Jen's expertise and attention to the finest of details is unsurpassed. When the tat was done, I was in awe. Everyone I show this tattoo to is amazed. Even those who don't like Celtic Cross' have to admire the level of her work. I saw Jen today to look over yet another custom design. She took another of my ideas and brought it to life on paper. I was floored when I saw what she had created. That one is going on next week and I'm already thinking about the one after that. As far as the shop goes, each one of the artists treats you like your thier client. It's accommodating, friendly and welcoming. I would have easily paid double what I was charged. With all due respect to Lightwave and their phenominal artists, Jen is without question one of the best artists I have ever seen. I would recommend Jen to anyone without hesitation. Thank you Jen. You've got a client forever.

Overall
Poor quality work. I went to ...

Poor quality work. I went to this shop, for my first tattoo, on the 14th, showed the "artist" a few pictures of what I was looking for, and explained to her how important the shapes and characters are because there meanings to them. The shapes were off, the line work was poor, sloppy and crooked; there were ink bleed and variability in thickness in a lot of lines. This was suppose to be 1 of many session but 2 hours later and $300, I came out with poor line work. I immediate address this concern with the owner, Natan, who also owns Witch ink in Salem, he was quite bias on the work. He had stated that I should trust him, he's the expert, but he's the only expert that thinks the work is anywhere decent. After the work was done and I realize how poor quality it was I had consulted a few reputable local and out of state shops to get their opinion; shops include Fat Ram in Jamaica Plain (Voted best shop), Stingray in Allston, and 2 reputable Polynesian tattooist (Samoan Mike and Soulution Ink), all of these shops agreed to the poor quality of the work performed. Natan stated that this is an outline and its repairable. So basically if you go there and get line work done it will be of "repairable quality" not perfect quality.

After requesting for my money back for poor, repairable quality outline, I was denied.

The artist name is Jenny.
