Pediatric Care
We care about the health and well being of each and every child in our practice. We choose to follow the American Academy of Pediatrics schedule for immunizations. Our office policy is to immunize each child in our practice according to these guidelines. Therefore, if you choose not to vaccinate your child we will respectfully ask you to seek healthcare else where.
Ear Infections
Never take antibiotics to treat a cold because antibiotics do not kill viruses. You should use these prescription medicines only if you have a bacterial complication, such as sinusitis or ear infections. In addition, you should not use antibiotics "just in case" because they will not prevent bacterial infections, and there is a risk of having a reaction to the medication itself.
Emergency Care
We are very excited to provide you with access to our patient portal. This will allow our patient's to view their medical records, print vaccine records, request appointments & prescription refills, etc on line. Please contact our office should you need assistance in logging onto the portal. THIS PORTAL SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR URGENT CARE ISSUES - PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE DIRECTLY.
Immunizations
We are accepting new patients in both locations. We would be happy to schedule an appointment for you. To provide the best patient care it is helpful to have your medical and immunization records transferred to our office prior to an appointment.

Behavioral Health
Today Glens Falls Pediatric Consultants practices medicine at 1 Lawrence Street, Suite 2 in Glens Falls and at 4 Carpenter Lane in Saratoga Springs, NY. The solo practice has evolved over the years to several providers operating seven days a week, 365 days a year. We treat patients from birth to twenty-one years of age. The practitioners have special interests in neonatology, asthma/allergy, developmental disabilities and behavioral health. We are truly your medical home.

Whiplash
Children that weigh more than 40 pounds may ride in a booster seat. A booster seat with a high back will help to provide protection from whiplash injuries, especially when a childs' head and ears are higher than the back of the automobile seat.

Skin Cancer
Children can suffer burns when their unprotected skin is exposed to sunlight. In addition, excessive sunburns can lead to skin cancer later in life. In fact, most people receive 50 percent of their lifetime exposure to the sun by 18 years of age. The following steps have been recommended by the American Academy of Dermatology and the Skin Cancer Foundation to help reduce the risk of sunburn and skin cancer...
