I visited the Ruby Tuesday at the Wilton Mall in Saratoga Springs this afternoon on Saturday, 22nd August 2010, with my sister. I am visiting from overseas and we have eaten at this Ruby Tuesday at least six times in the past two weeks. The food has always been excellent ...moreand the staff very polite and helpful. For some reason, when we dined there today, the radio was incredibly loud. We kindly asked the waitresses three times to please turn down the radio a bit so we could carry on a conversation. One waitress finally came back and said they could not do that, as it was a "corporate policy". I advised the waitress that we would simply leave the restaurant and asked her to cancel the order and bring the bill for our drinks. As we were standing up to leave, the volume finally came down to a more or less 'tolerable' level and the waitress asked us if we would like to be served. We stayed and completed our meal. Unfortunately, I do not think my sister or I will return to Ruby Tuesday and I will certainly check the noise level before I take a seat. I do not understand how 'corporate America' was bamboozled into believing that shoppers and diners appreciate loud music (or any music for that matter) whilst they are shopping and dining. It is usually too loud, not to one's taste and only contributes to more noise pollution. When I am dining, I would like to carry on a normal conversation or just relax in peace and quiet! If institutions insist on adhering to this 'corporate policy', then the Board of Directors should sit there because we will not. Joan L. Edwards, Nairobi, Kenyaview less
This is my favorite restaurant. An historic stone building with two fire places, the atmosphere is so warm and cozy it makes you feel so \"at home\" you won't want to leave. The food is fantastic, with good size portions at reasonable prices. You must try the cajun chicken ...morewings, delicious! The service is friendly and attentive. The Olde Bryan Inn is very popular and on weekends is very busy, unfortuneately they do not take reservations, so you may have to wait for a table. Waiting isn't bad when you have a drink in the rustic bar area, the time flys by. view less
This is a good place to take the family. Twelve and up.
