        Fine Dining, good service and fair prices

        For an evening of fine dining with good service and fair prices Lan's in downtown Sarasota cannot be beaten. The restaurant is quite beautiful and the menu which has specials every week is outstanding. I would call the menu fusion combining both international and asian flavors with inventive sauces and nicely paired side dishes.

        There is a late night menu for after theater which includes some of the appetizers from the main menu as well as other dishes.

        There is no hard liquor served but wine and beer and several flavors of mohito are available.

        This is one of the 2 or 3 best restaurants in sarasota and in fact on the west coast of Florida.
