i originally came here for business at the hotel, i honestly didn't expect much after some of my hotel-restaurant experiences in other cities. i was tired, grumpy, and i needed something to eat now so i figured "what the heck". when i walked in, i was immediately impressed by how happy the staff seemed. my mood got better. the wine list looked good, of course i was in wine country, but i decided to ask my server to suggest a cocktail for me. i don't remember the name, something with fresh grapefruit, but it was delicious. at that point i decided to let the waiter suggest more items for me...i ended up getting the crab cakes, which were some of the best i've ever had this side of the mississipi, and for dinner i got their wild mushroom pasta with bacon in it - WOW. to die for. i'm still thinking about it. the gentleman suggested some "award winning desserts" but by this time i was too full. after some friendly conversation i got a killer glass of zinfandel and took it back to my room. the food was great, but it was really the friendliness of the people that really made the experience for me. this place was much better than most hotel restaurants - and not nearly as expensive. two thumbs up!

I lived in Santa Rosa for 2 years while I took care of my Father who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 3 different places. He fought it the first time and It came back but he decides to live to rest of his days to the fullest. Even with my Dad sicker then a dog we still got out and enjoyed our days and at the end of the day, about 4 times a week, we would stop by Adel's and enjoyed the beat food in Sonoma County. The food was phenomenal but the girls were even better. All in all I was just trying to emphasize the magnitude of how great this restaurant really is and how they can turn even the most overwhelming days into a piece of heaven. Thank you Adel's for your hospitality and your life changing food! P.S. My dad was told he had 3 months to live after being re diagnosed and ended up living an entire year, and in his last moments we were laughing about how he swore it was because of all the good food and healthy food that he ate at Adel's! Thank You
I ordered the chile relleno combination plate. I was a little disappointed that it didn't come with another entree since the chile relleno was a little small, but after finishing my plate and a carne asada taco on the side, I have decided that this is my new spot in town. The beans and rice were spot on , and the carne asada is killer. I ordered a burrito to go for my bf and he decided that's his new fav too! Great food- give it a try for yourself!
