My children loved this 400 acre safari west park. We stayed in the cabin since I am to a camper but they have lovely campsites you rent. They have guided jeep tours last about an hour where one gets to be up close to giraffes and similar animals. My children call it one of the best vacations ever. You do not have to stay in the back you can pay the entrance and jeep tour fees. I recommend.Share Review

WOW! When I told my friends we were going to Safari West I got 2 answers- 1) Oh I've heard of it but never been there or 2) Never heard of it, but it sounds fun. Well, this place was great, we did the morning tour and most of the animals were out feeding. Our guide was knew everything about the animals that were there and made the tour not only fun but extremely educational. No lions, tigers or bears but you get to see animals that you would probably never see or know about. The Aviary...view more is being worked on and it contained some interesting birds. Lunch was great with a BBQ chicken buffet, so all you can eat. We saw single photographers, adult couples and a large family gathering as well as normal families...view lessShare Review
