Dr. William Plaugher is originally from West Sonoma County. He studied Molecular Biology and Spanish at Chapman University where he graduated with high honors. After he completed his undergraduate, he spent two years working for a nonprofit in Central America helping to implement dental clinics in rural communities. He attended UCSF School of Dentistry where he graduated with clinical honors. After dental school, he decided to return to Sonoma Country, to help serve his community. He is continuously learning by taking continuing education courses in cosmetic dentistry, clear aligner orthodontics, and implantology. He is an active member in the California Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, traveling, wood working, cooking, and photography.
