Amazing place to see authentically made Native American costumes made by the new owner. I The trading post is filled with beautiful items made locally. A real treat and must stop in you are in the Santa Fe Area.

Academy award winning costume designer, Cathy A. Smith, took over management of this historic 75 year old Trading Post in May of 2014. It has had a complete renovation and reinventorying. The post is now full of fabulous movie costumes from Westerns Smith has costumed: from Dances with Wolves to Geronimo to Longmire. It features the fine silver jewelry of Jennifer Jesse Smith, old Zuni and Navajo pawn jewelry, Navajo rugs, classic pueblo pottery, antique saddles, hats and gear.

It is a jackpost of a gathering of fabulous historic collectables!

Owner/artist Mel Rivera is a fake and fraud! They get their work from Mexico and call it local! Go to Walmart and get the same stuff for half the price!!
